I am feeling a little better today. I managed to go see the goats. A welcome return. Three weeks since I last paid them a visit. Much too long. It was great to see them again. And they seemed happy to see me as well. I love those girls. Vanilje and Magnethe. They were both looking and sounding fine. I had planned to just stay outside the fence, but in the end I gave in and just had to go inside the pen. Sitting on thte bench in the sunshine with a cool breeze and two lovely goats. Just the break I needed. Gave them lots and lots of scratches. And some old bread and apples. They enjoyed it all. And I enjoyed their company a whole lot. Got to say hello to Sigrid as well. She was running around with a couple of kids, chasing after an escaped bunny. My bunny-chasing days are over I’m afraid. But I think they managed to catch the runaway.
My dad helped me get up to the playground. And I managed to get home all by myself. Taking the bus and everything. That was nice. I think I might be able to go up there completely on my own actually. As long as my eyesight doesn’t deterioate too much. But I think I can manage. I have sunglasses now, and they help a whole lot. In the sun, obviously. I thought they might make things too dark, but as long as I am in the sunshine then they are actually a r ereally big help. I have to take them off when I get in the shade or in the bus or other places out of the sun. But without them it would all be a lot harder, so I’m glad I got them. When the oil comes out of my eyes I’ll have to see if I can get prescription sunglasses.
It was nice just to be outside in the sun. In a wide open space. Instead of the tiny apartment. With the walls closing in and everything dark and hazy. It’s good to get out a little.
In other good news, my dad took a second look at my feet and found that they didn’t look as bad as he thought. Apparently my toes were all red the first time he saw them. Maybe I’d been sitting on them or something, I don’t know. But in any case it turns out that I don’t have to go to the doctor after all. That’s nice.
So back to waiting and hoping. Thank you all for the encouraging words as always. You guys are great.

Hay, hay! Goats cure just about everything, don’t they? Or any animal, I think. We get so much enjoyment from our pets. And I think they enjoy being scratched and loved as well.
I spent time with the baby kitties tonight and watched them eat. Then they licked their paws, cleaned their faces, and promptly took a short cat nap. They are so sweet to watch them explore their surroundings.
Glad to hear you’re feeling better emotionally. We all have our ups and downs and I’m happy you’ve had a good day today.
Even if you don’t feel like walking someplace, drag a chair outside and sit in the sun for awhile. Do they have benches at your apt. complex where you can sit outside?

It was hot, hot, hot today. And we were working outside. I think I’ve melted into a small waxy blob!
I’m ready for cooler weather. Isn’t about time for fall yet?
Hope you are doing okay with keeping your spirits up. We think about you every day, my dear danish goat boy.

Plumester, I saw a vid of yours that featured your brother. Can you tell us a little about how you two are different but also similiar? Mostly different, or similiar?
