Over Pressure

Good news and bad news.

Yjr goof mred is that my right eye isn’t blind after all. It started hrting a lot yesterday and watering. So we went to the hospital. The pressure in the eye was too high. I got some medication through an IV and it has helped. I can see a tiny bit peripherally and I can see light to a certain degree. So it’s not completely blind, it’s back to just virtually blind. I have to take some more medication to keep the pressure down, and then back to the hospital on Tuesday to have it looked at again. Which means another cane session cancelled. But that’s ok.

The bad news is that my central vision on the left eye is even worse now. Almost completely gone. I almost had to give up reading your comments. And I almost had to give up writing this entry. I hope it’s readable. But it’s almost impossible now. We are definitely close to the end now. At least until a miracle comes along. Which I’m sure it will.

I probably will not be replying to comments anymore. Unless you post direct questions. But general commrnyd I won’t. It’s just too hard now. I will still read and apprciate all you guys have to say though. I hope you will understand. I in turn will understand if some people will stop reading or commenting. The fun is mostly over I’m afraid. Until the miracle, I mean.

Until them, vaya con dios.

*sending you lots of hugs* I completely understand that you’ll need to cut back on replying on comments for now, don’t worry!

Oh, dear Plume. Of course we all understand about you not commenting all the time. I will still check your blog and comment from time to time just to let you know we are thinking of you.

Good luck with your next doctor’s appointment. I am so frustrated in not being able to do anything for you or to be there for you. Damn, damn, damn. We need to move our two countries closer together!

You have done a ton for me Deb, dontt forget that. you all have.
Have I mentioned in the blog that I sometimes feel like my vision is better in the mornings? It’s morning now and I can read the comments a little better than I could last night.Just a little. I don’t know if it’s the light or that my eyes are rested or what. Or how long it’ll last. But it’s something.
    ugs to all.

Plume, my eyes are welling up every time I come here. I wish for the miracle for you. I wish I could turn back time and get you seen before it was too late. If wishes were fishes, as my husband would say.

I think of you all the time – every night when I tuck my little Raven in and she’s holding the goat teddy ever so tight, I think of you and hope that you know how much you mean to me and to all, who have come to know you through your words over the years.

    Lots of love.

Make a meal with some nice sausages or something that you like to enjoy, tasty food can sometimes cheer one up.

HUGS! I believe that it really is the fact that your eyes are better rested that you can read better in the mornings. They need time, a bit of attention and care by the docs and more rest for better recovery, so let’s be patient! I really wish I lived nearby and could come every once in a while and type your blog as you’d tell me about your thoughts and day. We’d drink raspberry tea and listen to some awesome music. And I’d be the first to hear/read your blog for that day! I love reading your blog, as many do, but the fact is that it is your health and well-being that comes first. Sending good healing vibes for your eyes and wishing you sweet dreams tonight! Be sure that we’re here and we know you’re here too, whether you comment or not for some time.
