When It Snows, It Pours

I had dinner with the family today. Chicken. It was quite nice. But the nicest thing, I think, was almost walking in the snow to get there. Beautiful snow. I don’t know if it qualifies for a snowstorm, but it was coming down a lot. Big, soft flakes. It wasn’t even that cold. Just a soft, quet snowfall. It wasn’t easy to walk in, of course. My cane isn’t much use when there is that much snow. And I can’t tell the difference between pavement, road and ditch. But oh it reminded me of days gone by. The perfect weather to go exploring in, or so I would have felt five years ago. Snow still turns the world into a beautiful, magic wonderland. Even if I can’t see it very well.

I got the results of my blood test from the other day. My kidney levels are fine again. So that’s good. But I’m still dizzy from the medication. So I will talk to the doc about that when I go see him in a couple of weeks.

Hey, Denmark beat USA in curling at the winter olympics. Did you see? Too bad we lose everything else. I am not terribly interested in the winter olympics. Or the summer ones for that matter. And I have never been skiing in my life. That is one of those things I will have to accept I will never get to do now. Along with getting a driver’s license and inventing a comb that automatically dyes the hair. In different colours.

(I was planning to make rainbow goats).

Skiing aint what it used to be. Aint what it aught to be. It used to be so Ski.

    Yeah. I did that.

Try not to think all that you have lost out on, but think of the direction this may unbeknowestly set you in that will make your life awesome?

Yeah I know it’s kind of hard to buy that right now, but… seriously… you know?

Sometimes I like to sit and take horrible scenarios and try to think of ways the horrible thing could end up leading me to some great or meaningful place and that is why the universe “tested me”. Idk Plume, it helps me. Just trying to share. If I were in your shoes… I’d be way more angry then you are, and you’re very brave! I’m not dissing on that I just want to make you feels betta.

Katt – I’m afraid I don’t think my life is leading in any awesome directions. But oh well. I don’t want to skii anyway. And I don’t want a driver’s license. I would like to make rainbow goats though.
There’s not much point in being angry. That’s going to get me nowhere. Sometimes I feel bitter. But that’s not very helpful either. I try to be thankful that things aren’t worse at least. Because they still could get much worse. So chin up. Turn that frown upside down.

You could have “goats of a different color” just like the horses in The Wizard of OZ!

    Or Skittles Goats.

There are vegetable dyes that people use on their dogs to make them pretty for special occasions.

We might have trouble with the goats eating the vegetables before we could get them colored! hee, hee

Debster – Maybe I should knit them some colourful clothes. Like people dress up their dogs. I’m sure the goats would love a warm sweater for winter!
