Crunchy Frog
It is nearing crunch time. On Wednesday I go back to the hospital to talk to tha anasthesiologist. And then Thursday the week after I go in for my (hopefully) last eye surgery.
So now is the time to recharge the batteries and gather strength,
What better way to do that than with goats? youtube.com/watch?v=HL4RkcJZhXY. A video from Friday. The kids jumping into the bunny pen. Twice. I think they like to play with rabbits. Magnethe doesn’t like when her little ones jump over or through fences, though. I think they would be easier to keep a check on if they staid in there, but she doesn’t see it like that. Not sure the bunnies would appreciate it either.
On my way home the wind blew my hat clear off my head. I thought I had lost it forever. But luckily it didn’t blow too far away. And I managed to spot it, through the grey haze of the world. A narrow escape.
Good thing I wasn’t wearing a skirt.

Wishing you all the best for Wednesday, dearest Plume. I KNOW this will be the last one and that it WILL do good! I just know it.

DesirĂ©e – I hope you’re right. I don’t want to get my hopes up too much though. As long as it doesn’t get worse..
Anyway, save the luck for Thursday the week after. Wednesday is just talk, perhaps some blood tests. That should be easy enough.

Good God, man! It’s called a “kilt”, not a skirt! Aren’t you Scottish on your Mother’s brother’s cousin’s daughter’s side????? hee, hee
I hope that wasn’t the world famous “Pheasants Forever” hat we almost lost? I would just have to send you another one to wear. With your kilt….
Good luck on your tests this coming week. I know waiting to see the doctor is nerve-wracking. Think pleasant thoughts of gamboling goats on grassy green meadows.
That’s “gamboling” goats, not goats at the casino “gambling”!

Debster – It was the Pheasants Forever hat. I was heartbroken there for a second, thinking that I would never find it. It didn’t occur to me that you might be able to send me a replacement. Silly me. Good thing I wasn’t carrying an umbrella though, I might have gone flying off to distant lands. Scotland maybe.
See now I can’t help thinking of goats playing poker. If dogs can do it, so can goats.

When I started watching the bunny video, I thought poor bunny. Those naughty goazies are chasing him all over the pen. About that time, the bunny started chasing after the goatzies!
Then the bunny stands up on his back legs like it’s going to box with a goat baby. It was hilarious to see the bunny and the goat pushing each other with their heads.
I think you must have powerful Danish ninja bunnies in the playground. Our goats are aware when a wild rabbit hops into their pen, but they just ignore it like its not even there. They certainly don’t play with a bunny!
I saw Magnethe staring a Sif in one of the other videos. She broke eye contact before anything happened. When Billy starts staring at one of our cats, I know I need to wave my hand in front of Billy to break eye contact or he will butt the cat.
After I wave my hand in front of Billy’s face, he looks up at me like he was in a trance, didn’t know he was staring at the cat, and goes on about his business. One of these days, the cats will figure out what always happens when Billy locks eyes on them!

Debster – Tape some plastic horns on that bunny and he could well be mistaken for a goat..
I will have to remember that hand waving trick. It may come in handy some day. Magnethe almost got in a tiff with Sif on Monday, but Bodil came to the rescue. And those little goatzies aren’t easy to hold off.
