I Am Sun Part 2

Good news from the playground. Hans is all better. Up and running around. I went to see him yesterday and he seemed very well. Happy for treats and scratchies.

Video proof: youtube.com/watch?v=IDopXOw8JfI. There is also a hello to a new pony. Fernando. He’s a lil black one. To my weak eyes he looks a lot like Musse, our old lady, who left a while ago. If he is anywhere near as nice as she was, then we’ll be just fine.

Sille wasn’t too happy with him being there, though. She’s the big boss of the horses. So she tried to make Fernando feel welcome by chasing him around a little. I’m sure they’ll get along, though. And while that was happening Felix came over to the fence and said hello to Grethe. She seemed a little uneasy about it. Those horsies are awfully big.

In other playground news, it seems that Kurt has retired. That is too bad. He’s a great, great guy. I will miss him at the playground. He still has his own place with goats and sheep and so on, so he’ll still have some contact with the playground in those regards. And he should still be taking Hans some time in the future.

He’s been gone a long time, Kurt. I know he’s had physical problems with stress and such. I hope he’ll have a nice, stress-free life now. Although owning goats doesn’t sound stress-free to me!

I’ve had a nice couple of days. Seeing Hans get better. Getting lots of packages in the mail. Dinner with the parents. A great Brøndby result in the UEFA cup. Gotten some eyedrops from the hospital that may get me back a little of the brightness in my vision. Just a little. Maybe. But all in all, nice days. All I need is the sun to come back.

Guess it was a mistake to do that rain dance.

Glad to know Hans is better. I’ll watch the video later when I get back from work. We’ve had rain here, too.

We get to see Goatmaster Plume in action working his magic on the goatzies. What’s this? The Goatmaster has bewitched Hans into becoming a “lap goat”. Hans is smiling and appears to be happy in his new role as a “lap goat”.

I want to groom that cute little black pony. He needs his mane combed and braided. I do love grooming our goatzies.

You could trim hooves easily if they all put their legs up on the fence like Hans did. Could you teach our goatzies to do that? Time for your manicure, boys.

My two new favorite songs are: “Lover, Lover” by Jerrod Niemann and “If I Die Young” by The Band Perry. Both videos are on youtube.

I know, I know. They’re country, but I like country. The other stuff scares me sometimes. I can identify with pickup trucks, old dogs, tractors, and gravel roads.

We saw 4 bats flying over the trees last night about dusk. The hummingbirds control the air during the day and after sunset, the bats take over. Glad someone is eating all those bugs and insects!

Debster Im not sure Hans would have accepted being a lap goat for much longer than that. “if I was meant to be up in the air Id have wings, mister”. Nice to see that I can still lift him haha.
It was Fernando’s first day at the playground, but I think by now all the girls will hve groomed him again and again. He is a handsome lad.
Country is not so bad. I mean, some of it. I used to rock out to that Kenny Rogers when I was a kid. Isn’t that what he’s called..
My mother is a huge Dolly Parton fan.
I will look up those songs. And you watch out for vampires. Vampires are everywhere these days. Those bats are probably on their way to hollywood.
    Or Dollywood.

    You have a steed, sir.

  5. Plume Says:

Billy Magpie – What do you mean, there have been goats for years

  6. Billy Magpie Says:

Fernando is new hotness though. You will ride him through town like Lady Godiva someday.

  7. Plume Says:

Billy Magpie – I have never tried riding Lady Godiva, how do you do that?

  8. Debster Says:

Plume: Shame on you! Riding Lady Godiva…what is this world coming to?

I would rather have Godiva chocolate anyday. (Unless Lady Godiva had a brother!)
