A Powerful Sucker
Guess what I did today?
I’ll give you a hint: I finally got my new vacuum cleaner up and running. How long has it been since I purchased it? More than a month, surely. Hah. I procrastinated for so long, waiting for my CCTV so I could read the manual. And then just waiting because… I like to wait. But it turned out to not be very complicated after all. And today I fired it up for the first time. Did a little test drive. And let me tell you, it’s a powerful sucker. When I put it on the maximum setting it literally gripped the floor. And I had to use quite a pull to get it off. It’s a lot more powerful than my old hoover. And yet it makes considerably less noise. So that’s cool. My floors willbe dust-free, I am sure.
Now we’ll see how long I can procrastinate before I get to actually washing the floor.

Hay, hay! Do we get to see a vacuuming video? Like the sales people who come in and dump a load of dirt on your floor and then demonstrate how their vacuum picks it all up, so then you’ll buy their vacuum?
Plume makes a “Vacuuming Video”. Wonder how many people will watch that? About as many that would watch me making a “Watch Paint Dry” video! hee, hee
My husband made an elevated bunk for the goazie boys for this winter. It has wooden legs, a heavy-duty plastic grating, and dividers for three goats so one goat (who shall remain nameless – FRANKIE) won’t hog the whole bunk.
They were interested in the “new furniture” in their shelter, but not until their mama said: “They need some straw in their beds” did they jump in and lay down. Their mama knows what goazies like!
Snickers, of course, tries to eat all the straw in the beds.
Who’s been sleeping in my bed”? asked the first Billy Goat Gruff. “Not I”, replied Goldilocks. “Nor I”, exclaimed one of the Three Little Pigs.
“It was me, me, me”, bleeted Frankie. “I slept in all the straw-filled beds, just because I can!”
But then the evil donkey Snickers ate all the goatzies’ straw and they all cried “Wee, wee, wee”, all the way home!
The End

Are you STILL washing your floors?

Debster – Well, I have to build an ark before I dare wash the floors! So no washing floors yet. But soon, I hope. Maybe.
Just not that much of interest going on. And then when I intend to blog, there’s suddenly footie on the telly and my dad calling for tech support. It’s a busy life being Plume.
I can’t make a vacuuming video either, because I don’t want to sell my vacuum cleaner. Perfect logic, eh?
I’d like to see a “watching goat watching paint dry” video.
That goat bunk sounds really great. What a neat idea! I can just imagine it, like one of those “home improvement” tv shows. Did the goats cry when they saw their wonderful new sleeping places? I must say I can’t blame Snickers for wanting to eat the straw. If someone made a bed of chocolate for me, well let’s just say I don’t know how much sleep I’d get…
It is one of my favourite things, when “my” goats decide to just sit down in a stack of hay. It looks so relaxing and they have the food right there. If I saw a big plate of soaghetti I might want to sit down in it too.
Are the goats and Snickers seperated or can they mingle? Somehow I imagine that if they’re in the same space they’ll chase each other around while Benny Hill music somehow plays in the background.
