Marco. Polo.

The sun came out today. While I was sitting on my exercise bike.

I like when the sun peeks in on me. When the sun shines I can see the whole room. Sitting on my exercise bike I can see the bookcase at the opposite wall. With my DVD collection. I can see the big Friends box on top of the case. I can read each letter F * R * I * E * N * D * S. And I can see each letter when I look directly at it, I don’t have to look a little to the left of it. Along with my eyesight becoming a little clearer the center of my vision has improved too. It used to be that when I looked straight in the eye of a face on TV I could only barely see the eye that I looked at. Now I can see the eye and a little bit of the face to the left of it. So I see more, and I see clearer.

A lot of the time my apartment is my whole world, and it’s not that long ago that I couldn’t see from one end of the world to the other. It was like being trapped in a tiny little bubble of grey. I could barely see an arm’s length ahead of me.

This just to say that I appreciate the change. And the sunshine.

You have sunshine! Please send me some. It’s been dreary and overcast here. And now we are to have rain. Just after all our “big snow” has mostly melted and it’s muddy.

The goats like not having drifts in their pen, but they would like it to be warmer and drier. Me, too!

It’s good to hear your eyesight is still good (or good enough) to make a big difference for you!
