Strawberry Nice

Quiet times in goatland. Not a lot going on. The weather hasn’t been too hot, but at least we’re getting some sun. The goat gang enjoys when I take them out to the greens. I enjoy it too. Dennis got me a strawberry from the vegetable garden at the playground. They put a fence around it, so I guess the goats can’t get to it after all.But it seems kids have been vandalizing it. Not really suprising. Oh well. The strawberry was good. My knee is getting better. The wound is closing in. Exercise is going well. And so things go on. With goat photos.

Starting with Kamel, because I still think of her all the time.

Dennis gave the goats a louse treatment. Mio was not pleased.

Two little Sif doggies! …with Photoshop magic.

And videos.

And that’s all for this week folks see you in the next one.

Dear sweet Kamel. What a lovely picture of the two of you.

Sounds like you must have taken quite a fall. Was it just one knee or both of them? A couple of years ago, we were working outside and I tripped on an uneven sidewalk and fell all the way down.

I had a nice big knot on my knee and scraped my hands up, too. One minute I was standing up, the next thing I was face down on the ground. I had been walking over this same stretch of sidewalk previously with no problem. I didn’t notice it was uneven till I fell.

I felt so dumb and looked around to see if anyone was watching when I fell. Then I wondered how long I would be on the ground if no one was around to help me! Did anyone help you when you fell?

It has been hot, humid, and rainy here. The temperature was in the upper 90’s F, but felt like 107 F. Of course, this is when we are painting inside a new home that doesn’t have the air conditioning installed yet! Talk about hot. We were both wringing wet at the end of the day and worn out. We had fans, but they were just blowing the hot air around.

Our special lady, Kamel. Miss her.
I fell on both knees but the right one only had barely a scrape. The left one had a bigger wound. Well, not that bad really. Just taken some time to heal up totally.
Haha, when I talked to my mother about my fall she mentioned that too, how you feel so silly and you want to just walk on like nothing happened. Which is totally what I did too. I got up immediately even though I was shaken and somewhat limping. But hey, I totally meant to do that!
I wish we could get a little warmer weather here again. Summer can’t be over yet!
