Silky Summer
Summer vacation is over. But suddenly the weather is summer. It’s been quite lovely with some warm and sunny days. Let’s hope we get some more. Before the summer is over. It’s good for exercise, and for lazing about with goats.
I have a new dog friend, too. I don’t remember if I wrote about it. But recently Bodil’s friend Aase lost her dog. She has a new little one now. Silke. She such a cute, litlte thing. The first time I met her she barked at me. She did at everyone, I was told. She was a little insecure and everything was new. But now we get along fine. And with Bodil’s dog Sif too. We’ve had some nice dog pow wows. Here are some pictures of Silke, and Aase.

I see little goaty beards on the kids. Our boys have nice beards, too. They always get wet after a nice drink of water.
Has one of the kids rubbed its horn on something and got it bleeding? A couple of times on the last video it looked like something red just below its horn. Or maybe he’s been rubbing on something painted red?
Such pretty blue skies and marshmallow clouds. When we have clouds lately, they are gray and full of rain.
The video of the goats in the dappled shade under the trees is pretty. It looks so inviting. I’d sit under the trees in the shade and eat crackers with you and the goatzies any day.

They’re definitely growing their beards, the boys! Especially Popcorn’s is surprisingly big for his age, I think!
And yes, Peanut got some kind of cut on the base of his horn I think, but it’s all healed up and fine now. Those boys! Always getting into trouble. As good goat boys should.
