Hopsital
This week I had my appointment in the eye ward at the hospital. The eye doc had said there was some redness and irritation in my eye and some silicone bubbles. So he wanted the hospital doctors to take a look at it. And they did. To my relief they said that if wasn’t something that was bothering me then it would be better to just leave it alone. They could do surgery to remove the bubbles and such, but I’d really rather not. So that’s where we’re at. Things still stable and no invasive procedures. I’m glad we had the experts take a look, though. And at least one nurse remembered me from all those hospital visits back in ’09-10 when I was in an out and had all the surgeries etc. I prefer not to think of all that. Look ahead, not back. That’s what I always say, from now on.

I prefer to think of goats. On Monday I gave them some free time. No leashes. Just following them around as they explored and ate. It’s always good fun, though tiring on my legs. Running around to keep them out of trouble. But we got smiles from passers by and excited (and terrified) glees from the kindergarteners when the goats came up to their fence. Fun day!
And now, go go goat photos.
Check if the fence is still broken. Once a goat has found an escape route they’ll keep checking it!
And videos.
And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next one.

Good to hear your doctor visit went well! And no surgery scheduled is even better. Hope your sight stays stable with no surprises for you in the future.
Do you talk to the goats in Danish or English? I was wondering if they were bilingul goatzies? Do you get to practice speaking much English? You write so well, I forget English isn’t your first language.
Of course, I speak several languages – English, goat, donkey, and some kitty cat! Hee, hee.

I almost never get to speak English. So my accent is probably horrible. I don’t even talk that much to the goats. I’m just a quiet guy. But when I talk to the goats it’s usually in Danish . Or in my head.

So you send them telepathic messages in your head!! Do they send messages back to you?
I talk to our goats all the time. They expect to hear how wonderful they are and how pretty their coats are in the summertime.
They have had their first bucket of warm water to start off the fall season. It isn’t cold enough yet, thank goodness, for the heated water bucket yet.
