Hey guys! So, funny story. You know how I have mentioned a few times that they’re doing lots of construction in my area? Tearing down buildings ,building other buildings. Well, apparently someone managed to cut the magic tube that sends internet to my building.
Thank you Pat for reaching out and spreading the word too. And to everyone who worried. I don’t want you to worry of course, but I’d be sad if no one worried. Haha.
Well, I am currently at my parents place. My internet provider says the problem will be fixed Friday at the latest. So I hope I can trust that. I mean, things like this never take longer than anticipated, right? Also, the fact that there’s snow on the ground now won’t cause delays? Good. I’m glad we got that settled. Well, we’ll see. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be back when I’m back.
It’s weird not being online. I know in theory that it’s good to have a break. But it doesn’t feel good when you’re FORCED. Also, when you’re a person with 95% of your social on the net then it suddenly gets very, very quiet. Like all the voices are suddenly silenced. My little apartment is suddenly so empty. I MISS YOU GUYS. Haha. Also, all the thoughts in my head … I don’t have an outlet for them now. They just bounce around in my head. Which is why I’m letting some of them out now. Also, my mama made my hot cocoa for me and I’m warming up after a few hours out in the snow with goats. And my parents cooked up a whole pot of soup just for me. So I’ll be going home to have some of that soon. Not too bad. I just hope my net will be back up. Soon. I hope. Please. Before I go crazy er.
Anyway. I think that’s all for this update. Thank you if you noticed that I was gone. I know it’s only been a dayish. But not being forgotten when I’m gone is kind of a big thing in my head.

Did you miss us?
It’s March 1st, which means.. two weeks until I turn *coughmumblecough*. It also means that it’s Spring by the Danish calendar. Even though I think we’re in the coldest period of the year so far. But most importantly it means I CAN WRITE THINGS ON THE INTERNET AGAIN.

I’m going to have to have a talk with Milo. He’s just not cute enough. He’s going to need to step up his game if he wants to be in anymore pictures from now on. Just look at him. It’s a shame, really. He’s lucky he’s got a sweet personality.

It’s so cold. The wind on my face is like someone burning me with a blowtorch.
In better news, ordering pizza for the first time this week. I know in theory I could have ordered over the phone while my net was down but.. I mean, me using the phone? That’s like… unlikely.
Must practice metaphors.
My internet is working, and fast. Before the breakdown I had a 2/10 mbit connection. Now I have a 20/60 connection. Pretty rad. I don’t know if this is a mistake or if it’s compensation for the downtime. I’m scheduled to get a support call today, maybe they’ll tell me. I’m just glad the support call won’t be an more than “Yes, it’s working now. Thanks”. I was worried that “Friday at the latest” would turn into “I’m sorry, there will no longer be internet available in Denmark”. Phew.
One of the things I definitely didn’t miss whle gone was . politics. I gotta do my best to stay away from Twitter for as long as possible. I really don’t want to know what’s going on. I was looking at the footie on twitter and I saw Alex Baldwin trending. Don’t tell me what that’s about, please.
Some of the downtime was spent experimenting with hd filming. I have switched to 1920×1080@60fps video now. It will be a little while until those videos start showing up on the facebox and I have no idea if you’ll be able to tell the difference. But it’s working well for me, my editing process is a little more streamlined and the filesize/quality is better handled. Good to know, right?
Sorry if I missed any birthdays or other important business while I was gone. I am thankful to have you all in my life, that only became more clear when you were gone.
On a worse note, I’ve been having some pretty bad back pain for days. May have to go to the doctor if it doesn’t get better. But you know me and the doctor. It’s like getting me to make a phone call. Unlikely.
