Back And Back Again

Good goat times today. I had been wondering if all the downpour the forecast talked about would be rain or snow. Well it was mostly rain. It seemed to turn into a bit of snow now and then. But I think it rained through most of the night. Most of the snow was washed away. More rain to come in the forecast.
So it was a day inside with the goats. Frisky goats in small contained areas makes for a fun time anyway. Running around, competing for treats and attention.
When I got there Jeanette came out and said she had a present for me. Turns out it was a ski coat. Big warm looking one. It had been her son’s, but I think she said she wasn’t sure if he’d ever worn it. Well, she’s always concerned about me staying warm so she thought I could have it. I tried it on and unfortunately it was just a tad too small. I could get it on, but it wasn’t comfortable. If I lose a couple more pounds maybe. Too bad, but ah it just goes to show how sweet Jeanette is, I really appreciate that she cares about me, and the goats. She found another pallet that I can put to use in the goat house too.
Pretty pretty good day, although I’d like some sun and warmer weather soon, please.
I feel like my condition is improving. I have started doing some new back exercises and stretches, well they’re old ones that I used to do actually, I think they are helping a bit. Along with the biking. For the first time in a good while I could make the morning walk to the goats without having to stop and sit down for a break halfway there. My back a bit better and my fitness condition a bit better. I hope that’s a sign that things are improving, and not just a temorary relief. There’s still room for improvement, but it wasn’t too bad today.
Now, more soup.

If you’re following the goat page you can see the arrival of the new big christmas tree last week. Here is what’s left of it today. There’s quite a lot left, it was standing out in the rain. I decided to drag it into the goat bedroom and as soon as it got out of the rain the goats attaacked it again. It might be a bit too big to stay in their bedroom, but it’s nice for them to have stuff to do when they’re boarded up for the night.

A while ago Keiko asked what was in the building I walk past in the videos when I walk towards the goat pen. Well, today after trying on the coat Jeanette offered me, I thought I’d just get out the camera and show you all. It’s just a two second spin around, nothing interesting there really. There are meetings in there sometimes I think, other than that I just think it’s where Jeanette hangs out during the work day mostly. Just a place closer to the animals than the main building.

Literally one minute after I got home today, the doorbell rang. It was the mailman, delivering my CBD oil package. Great timing, I’m glad I was there to get it. As I said earlier, I was in less pain today. But there was still some pain. So I thought I’d just pop a capsule right away. I am not sure if it really did anything. Harder to tell when the pain isn’t so great. But I just wanted to get started and try it. I’m only going to take them when I go out goating. I’m not sure if that’s the best idea, maybe you get a better effect if you just take it evey day continously. But the stuff I got wasn’t exactly cheap and if I take some every day then I’ll run out in 3 weeks. I’d rather make it last longer. And the pain is only really a problem when I’m up and standing or walking a lot.
One capsule has 15% in it. I asked the place I got it what their recommendaton and experience was when it comes to pain management. They said 15% was for stress and discomfort. 15-30% for pain. And 40-50% fpr extreme pain. So. I figure next time I go out I’ll take two capsules and see if I feel it has an effect. I have had extreme pain I’d say, so I could try 3 capsules too. But today it wasn’t really extreme. And who knows, maybe the exercise and stretches will get me to a place where I don’t need the CBD at all. One can hope. I’ll let you know if I have any interesting findings. At least I’ve tried it now and survived. I didn’t want to take it before going out and then end up passing out while outside haha.
Oh yeah by the way, I did one of the new stretches while I was at the goat place. I believe it’s called the child’s pose in yoga. Kneeling down and leaning forward. Now, can you guess what happened when I did that? Yeah it didn’t take long before I had a goat on my back. Not sure if it was Luna or Bella, but she was pretty light so it was probably Luna. Probably not the best idea for my back. But it didn’t hurt. And I think doing that stretch right before leaving helped me feel better when I was doing shopping and going home. But hey I got some goat yoga, good for me!

Wonder if Tucker’s gonna sit down and interview Tay Tay too, another one of the great enemies of America, clearly.
Anyway, congratulations to the team that won the super bowl, they sure won that thing, I was like whoat they’re winning and then they did and that was that, what a sportsgame. Okay okay in my book if it’s not a 90 minute long boring 0-0 draw then it’s not real football, kiss my grits.

And for those who are just here for the goats. Here’s what I did with the new pallet Jeanette found. Wasn’t sure if I should put it on the left side, but I think I will wait till I hopefully get a few more pavement tiles to build a stairway leading up on the left too. For now it’s a nice and wide staiway on the right. Amd Sky is wondering why the human is messing with that stuff instead of giving her treats.

Well I was going to post a valentines photo from the goat page collection, but then I go to the photo album and I only get a limited amount of photos, can’t scroll down to see them all. I go to my own photo albums and I get even fewer photos in the albums, if I look at my own photo albums it only loads 8 pictures. What the fork.
Could some of you do me the favour and go to my photo album at here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10160215975013657&type=3
And tell me if it loads more than 8 photos for you (in grid view), and if you’re on desktop or mobile and what browser you’re using.
I tried another browser and it was the same thing. Tried going to one of Keiko’s albums. Same thing. Forks sake. What’s the point of a photo album if it doesn’t show all the photos?

Happy Valentine’s everyone.

Not feeling so great today. Extremely tired. I didn’t make it out of bed this morning. I did make an hour and change on the exercise bike when I got up, so that’s something. But I’m feeling extremely worn out and my back is killing me. I am not sure if I overdid my back stretches or did them wrong or something, but I’m not feeling good right now. Boo erns. I just want to go to bed.

Think goat thoughts.
Oh and it seems the facebox photo album thing from yesterday is fixed, I can see all the photos in all the albums now, so that’s good. Don’t know what the fb engineers were doing yesterday, I think they let goats eat the code or something.

One from today’s exercise mix.
Made it 1h15 on the bike. That seems to be my limit at the moment. Not so much because of my legs, but more because of my butt. After an hour on the bike it just gets really sore. Feels like I’ve gotten a paddling from a headmaster in a Morrissey song for being a naughty boy.
Felt good though. The sun came out while I was going. I love having the sun coming in behind me, the spaceheater going in front of me. In my rain coat, pedaling into the zone.
Brought in the arm exercises for the first time too. Got my metal rod with the bendy middle. Man, doing that while biking really gets the pulse going and gets me out of breath. I enjoy it, so far sticking to it.
My back is getting a little better again, only did mild stretches today. Still suffering a bit from whatever happened last time. Hopefully I’ll be ok for the next goat trip. I’m trying.

It’s 9:20 pm and the elephants upstairs have decided to rearrange their furniture. Swell
You know what’s funny? There’s some kind of renovation going on upsairs, has been for a long long time. But it’s mainly in weekends. During the week there’s usually some kind of normal noise in the building. But the powersaws and floor sanding and furniture rearranging and drilling and all that. That’s usually during the weekend. I just love that on the days I want to sleep a little later than usual, we get powersawing at 8 am. I mean, that’s not an unreasonably early hour to do stuff, but it’s the weekend. Can’t you wait till 10 am?
On the plus side, the dancing children seem to not be so active anymore. It used to be almost every week day that they’d start stompin the floor at 7 am. It still happens occasionally, I guess it’s when they get up to go to school or something. But at least not so often anymore.
Now if you’ll excuse me I have to go yell at some clouds. You clouds get off my lawn!
Oh, and I’m happy to have Jon Stewart back. If America is going to degenerate into endles stupidity as two senior citizen monkey in tutus fight over who gets to ring the giant bell then I prefer it to be narrated by Stewart.
