Easter
Good goat times today. A bit chilly in the morning, but some nice sunshine too. Not bad Jeanette is out on vacation so I had to do some social duty with visitors. They asked if they could go in the pen and I said okay and then they let a kid into the pen. Elias. He proceeded to sprint around the entire pen. He completely ignored the goats and just ran around in circles through the entire pen. Ran up to the goat house and looked around there. Ran over and climbed up on one of the platforms. One of his minders said to the other “maybe he identifies as a goat. We support you Elias”. Haha. He tired himself out just running around like that. And did not once stop to pet the goats. Well as long as he had fun! Another visiting kid went around and made loud chicken noises to the chickens. And to the goats, who were not impressed. When Jeanette isn’t there then the visitors don’t get to feed them snacks and that does not make goats happy! Good thing I had plenty of treats for them.
Came home after shopping and went to pick up a package. Got home and found that none of the stuff I hard ordered was in the package, completely wrong items. Fnergle. Now I have to deal with that and do more package runs and I wish I was a goat instead.

My back not doing so good today, unfortunately. So that sucks. I managed to get on the exercise bike and do an hour and half. So that’s good. The days are getting warmer, makes it easier to get in a groove on the bike.
Got a pepsi delivery today too. I have started splitting htem up in smaller batches, get a delivery every 2 or 3 weeks instead of once a month. Getting 30 big bottles of pepsi delivered is just kind of stressful and annoying. Nicer to have them split in smaller batches and then I can get some stuff in the delivery too. Like today I got some noodles, so I’ll be having that soon. Fun fact: Noodles in Danish are called nudler, which sounds almost like nudes. Get your mind out of the gutter!
Been thinking of trying to cut back on the pepsi. Replace it at least partially with other no sugar sodas. I’d still be getting the artificial sweeterners, but at least I’d be cutting down a bit on the caffeine. See, your nagging pays off sometimes! Seriously, I appreciate you care about my health. I should try that myself.

Bella loes her belly rubs. She will jump up like this many times during the day. Okay, she is also looking for treats. But when she does this I usually can’t resist reaching out and rubbing her neck and belly.
Also notice Luna under the chair. She loves going under the chair it seems. Even if the passage to the left is clear, she’ll still prefer to coot under the chair instead of walking around it.

Not feeling super great. My head hurts, not in the physical way but you know. Managed to get on the bike for an hour fifteen, so that was something at least. Could really feel my legs getting sore and hurting quicker, I need a little more recovery time now. But I’m keeping at it, and that’s something. One day a day, one hoof in front of the three others.

Sky and Bella. Bella is getting quite bossy, but just with Luna. Luna gets pushed around, but she’s still go respect for Sky. They get along well, sometimes Sky even grooms Bella which is pretty sweet. But when Sky puts her hoof down to assert herself for treats or attention, Bella will hightail it outta there. She can’t boss Sky around. The one doing the challenging is usually Luna. She’ll butt heads with Sky and Bella. To a point. She’ll dance around them and do some headbuting and then sprint off, usually. And then they’ll all settle down and be getting along fine. And when they sense some kind of (percieved) danger they’ll group up close and make a united front.
The other day I was sitting on the yellow chair. Sky took her usual position on my left, that’s where she goes and then nudges me with her head until I give her scratchies. So I was scratching her on my left, and Bella was up on her hind legs as she does to get belly rubs, I was scratching her in front of me with my right hand. And then I had one of my legs up and resting over the oyher leg which meant it was poking out to my right. And Luna was standing under my leg and I started moving my foot back and forth so I was scratching her back with my shoe. It would be easier if I had three hands, but I did managed to scratch them all at the same time.

Got on the exercise bike for an hour and a half today. Got a good groove going, legs felt stronger than last session two days ago. Getting stronger and stronger.
Got a doc appointment next week so I am borrowing dad’s blood pressure measure doohickey. Always a little nervous when measuring my blood pressure, because it’s usually trending a little on the high side. But it was perfect today, so that’s encouraging.
The weather is slowly warming up. Although about a week ago the projected temperature for today was 16C/60F. Actual temperature today? 9C/48F. Ah well. It’s still better than a week or two ago.
Projected temperature for next Saturday? 18C/64F. Hah, i’ll believe that when I feel it. Those are summer temps for Denmark so I won’t hold my breath. But at least we’re out of the freezing.

Watching the Steve Martin documentary. Absolutely brilliant. Wonderful. Can’t say enough good about it. I mean I’m only 35 minutes into part 1. But so far, wonderful. I love seeing all the old stuff. I came in fairly late in the Steve Martinverse. Earliest memory of him I guess would be Trains, Planes and Automobiles. I loved that movie so much. One of the repeater VHS tapes I had. Him and John Candy. Made me laugh and cry.
Anyway. I highly recommend Steve! (martin).
