Return Of The Smile
The night before Monday I went to sleep crying. Last night was somewhat different. Can you guess what happened? I was lying in bed, reading The Time Traveler’s Wife. And then all of a sudden something came through the window and landed on my bed. Can you guess now?
Moomincat came back! Oh how sweet it is when it happens good. It made me happy, very happy. So happy I almost cried. It’s been so long since I’ve seen him. To be honest I had sort of resigned myself to the fact that I probably wouldn’t see him again. That he had found someone nicer to visit, some place more interesting. Or that his owners wouldn’t let him out anymore. Or whatever. I had almost stopped hoping. And now here he is again.
Just as pretty and cuddly as always.
I took him for a walk around the house. Well, not really. I just had to go get my camera from the living room. And he followed me around.
I’m not sure exactly why there is a drawer missing from our commode, but it’s a perfect hiding place for a cat.
He got up on my table too. Man, I need to clean my room again. I always let tons of junk pile up everywhere.
There’s no food in the Lost box set, silly cat.
It was great. I loved seeing him again. I was lying in bed and just looking at him for a while, he sat on the floor. Finally I turned off the light to go to sleep. Five minutes later he jumped up on my bed and continued up on the window sill and disappeared out into the night. And I went happily to sleep.
At the playground today I had a little deja vue.
You might think that’s a picture from yesterday, when the fence was broken down. But nope. It happened again today. The third time in a row. You can see that they had sort of reinforced the fence, but Sine’s big butt just can’t be controlled I guess. I have to say that it’s a rather funny sight, a big horse rubbing her butt against a wooden fence that’s straining and cracking under the pressure.
I managed to patch up the fence afterwards. With some branches and stuff. So the goats couldn’t run out. But they’ll have to get the fence mended again yes. And maybe they should invest in a scratching post or something.
Finally, some lambs:
“What’s that thing you’re pointing at me? Why does it say ‘click’ all the time??”.
I think I might be getting sick. My mother has been sick and now I have started coughing. Not that I’d mind being sick. It would be a good excuse for lying in my bed all day and disliking myself. Cause I know how to party.

Det var den læge, du. Og det er de færreste forkælede huskatte, som traver i sne. Men han har da savnet dig…
