Episode 8: Magnethe Eats An Apple
I love watching Magnethe eat an apple whole. It’s like watching a python swallow a hippo. More or less. But really, the apple is almost bigger than her mouth. It’s so big that she can’t really chew it. So she grinds it, she rolls her head around, she lifts her legs up, like she’s trying to get leverage, like she’s trying to find just the right angle to crush the apple. And eventually she breaks it down into a gooey slime. It is a wonder to behold.
Today I felt very bad. My head. not a headache. But everything was swimming. Spinning. I was dizzy. It was not nice. I didn’t feel okay until I was sitting down with the goats. Natural born healers.
Happy weekend, everybody.
PS. Desiree, did you ever work something out with the video? Your guestbook isn’t working and I didn’t get a reply to my mail. I’m still dying to see it.

An apple-eating goat is a funny thing to behold! Our goats have us “trained” to thinly slice an apple and evenly divide up the pieces for the two of them (so there is no fighting – you get more apple than I do!) Sibling rivalry at its worst!
Hope you get to feeling better over the weekend.

Definitely do not waste a weekend being sick! I love the way she has one foot up in the air almost like she is going to push the apple more in her mouth – funny goats!

When I was a kid, I used to eat cupcakes like that. Oh, my! I guess I did look like at goat!

jesus, mr. plume, i haven’t been to your site in a while and look what happened whilst i was gone…
anyway, i’m glad you got your package. i was beginning to worry, cos i hadn’t heard from you, but then i realized that you prolly didn’t have a current way of getting ahold of me. so my myspace is there for you now, and the e-mail. what did you think of the music?
i’m sorry about the goats. hopefully that will work out. and i honestly don’t think you should have apologized for anything. this is your blog, and you can say whatever the hell you want. you could write “i like to have sex with puppets” or “man i really love to lick aborted fetuses” and it’s your right to do that. it’s your site. they’re your thoughts. you’re allowed to sound off and you don’t always have to be rational.
that’s my 2 cents. do with it what you will. ;)

oh yes but since it’s online and public, and there is a comment section, then random douchebags also have every right to disagree and write what they think also. if this was in mr plume’s paper journal then of course nobdoy would’ve said anything. but you know, the thing with internet blogs is that if you want to feel liked and listened to, then you also need to deal with disgruntled people who listened and didn’t like it. And especially since he has both a guestbook and a comments page, i think it’s fair game that people give him a piece of their mind. and it’s not always going to be “omg i am ur #1 fan.” i dont think i like how your mind works.
in other news, i made chocolate chocholate chip muffins. i bake now. i would make such a good wife, omg.

My e-mail doesn’t work now either, so I don’t know what’s going on. Maybe – probably – a conspiracy of some sorts. I’d be just the kind of person someone would conspirace(!) Anyways, the video is too big to even send, so I guess that’s the end of that venture. But pictures are nice, too.

can we talk?
August 28th, 2006 at 4:30
broke, well, i think it would be different if he was posting this on a public message board or whatnot. this is his own registered domain, his own site. i don’t think he has to please or apologize to anyone on his own damn site. but like i said, that’s just my 2 cents. you disagree. that’s fine. perhaps i will start a message board where we can all convene and overanalyse plume’s thoughts. wouldn’t that be keen?

Deb – “my” goats are also used to having their apples sliced and diced. But I just grabbed these apples from our back yard, they’re not really high quality, but the goats still like to chew ’em up.
Debbie – My head was clear for the weekend, luckily. I love the “foot in the air” thing too. It’s especially cute in live action, she’s moving the foot up and down and forwards and back, as if she’s really trying to push the apple further in her mouth. It’s so very cute.
Luis – Haha! Well if it’s good enough for the goats, then way shouldn’t we do it too!
Jane – Jane, my goodness! I shall reply to you on myspace if it ever decides to work for me.
PS. Don’t tell anyone about the puppets!
broke – my kingdom for a muffin.
