Pants And Other Lessons
I thought maybe you guys needed a picture of Mads with his head buried in hay.
Because I know I did.
And then five minutes later…
Mads has pulled the hay down on the ground. And much munching ensues.
So tomorrow is another work day. In fact I have only 10 days left at Kulturgyngen. Wednesday the 20th, that’s my last day. It’s also the day of the christmas party there, but I shall not be attending that. So 8 workdays remaining. Then I’ll have a good long holiday before starting at Tilværelse Med Udsigt. And then we’ll take it from there.
You might have thought that everything went incredibly well after my succesful weekend of partying. But in fact it did not. I missed some days at work. Partly due to being emotionally and physically exhausted from the weekend. Partly due to missing my meds for a couple of days (yes, I’m dumb). But mostly because my replacement started. The guy who is going to take over my duties. The monthly flier and poster. And I have to show him how to do it. And that scared the pants off of me. And I couldn’t very well go to work without pants, now could I? The thought of having to sit there one-on-one and be the one “in charge”. I could not deal with that. And then when I finally do show up it turns out that he is incredibly nice and that he practically figured everything out by himself. Hah. Once again the lesson is to not be afraid because things are never as bad as I make them out to be in my head.
I can do more than I think I can.

Hanne – Wow! They are so beautiful. I look forward to seeing more of them! And of you too soon.

It’s the pretty Scottish fold kitty! Are they both Scottish fold kitties? They are so beautiful (Plume took the words right out of my mouth!).
I was wondering how you and the kitties were doing. Last time I don’t think the Scottish fold kitty was home with you yet.
Sob, sob. It got warm enough to melt some snow today! We shall soon be just like Denmark . . . SNOW-LESS! No complaint from the goats though.
I think you’d make a good teacher, Plume. You’d be patient, kind, and not call your replacement stupid names regardless of what questions he asked. You can do more than you think. You teach the children at the playground how to act around animals, don’t you???? And what a fine job you do, too.

Sometimes the unknown is more scary than when the actual thing happens. It happens to all of us.
Where will you go to after this gig?

Deb – Quick, get all the snow to Denmark before it melts! We must rescue the snow! For the snow’s sake, not for mine!
Maybe I can teach the world to sing. Or dance in the snow.
Luis – Yup, the unknown is always worst. When I stop at Kulturgyngen I’ll have January off and then in February I’ll start at Tilværelse Med Udsigt where they’ll help sort out my future, I hope.
