A Bus Stop Named Desire
Okay, okay, okay. Here it is, the video I promised yesterday. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MI0-z5n5SMI. It is possibly the oddest and funniest thing I have ever seen. Sille licking Magnethe. It just cracks me up. I don’t know if she’s trying to groom Magnethe or if Magnethe’s fur just had a nice taste or what’s going on. But it makes me go lol. I oughta upload the original version to my own site, so you can see it better. But I hope you will still lol a little.
Maybe Sille just misunderstood that whole thing about licking frogs. Silly Sille, you’re supposed to lick a TOAD not a GOAT!
And now it is weekend. Nice. Three day weekend even, since TMU is closed on Monday. Good stuff. And I have made it through the two first weeks, the intro weeks. I have to say, I am feeling really good about it. It’s not like it’s going to be easy peasy, but I’m pretty sure I can do it and I’m pretty sure it’ll have a good outcome with a nice flexjob and things will work. Yay for positive thinking.
But hey, don’t forget about the lambs.
Aw, little Mini. She’s tiny. And she always seems to be scrunching up like a harmonica so she looks even smaller!
Yes, yes. Four pictures. I consider that restraining myself. But just for the sake of variety, here is one of the geesers:
They love to waddle around on the grass field in front of the playground. It’s all muddy and perfect for them.
I saw a picture of the new piggies that we will be getting in March. Remember I said that Kurt found them through an article in the paper? Pernille had a copy of the article and she showed it to me. There was a nice picture of a bunch of piglets suckling from their momma. And two of those will be ours. That’ll be great. They look like real cuties. Tiny and spotted. Although they’ll be a bit bigger when they come to the playground. But still, I’m sure they’ll be fun.
The weather forecast says that we will be getting a lot of snow. On Sunday I think they said. Fingers crossed. It’s so very cold right now, so there ought to be lots of snow. Lots and lots.
I have said it a couple of times in replies to comments, but just to repeat myself, just to repeat myself the reason that the bus situation is complicated and the reason why the TMU buildings are rurally bricklayed (those are words, I know they are) is that TMU is actually out in the middle of nowhere. Out in the open countryside. Huge open fields everywhere. The city busses in Århus don’t go all the way out there. So I have to take a city bus for a while and then I have to change to.. a “rutebil”. I’m not sure what that is exactly called in English. The busses that go between cities, I guess. Just imagine greyhound busses on a smaller scale. To further complicate the bus travel the people in charge of the bus routes decided to remove one of the bus stops at TMU. When I go there in the morning I can get off the bus right at the doorstep of TMU. So that’s fine. But when I have to go home, in the opposite direction of course, there is no bus stop. Apparently it was too dangerous because there is no street crossing there so people must have just been running across the giant highway road and I’m sure they all got killed like flies on a windshield or something. So what that means, just to repeat myself that means that I have to take the bus in the wrong direction. For one stop. Then I get off. And at that stop there is a street crossing so I can cross the street and take the bus in the right direction. That is all very boring and I always suck at explaining things so you probably don’t even understand it plus this sentence is getting really out of hand so just to repeat myself, the busses are complicated.
Anyway. I think that’s pretty much it. You guyses who read this on the lj syndication really ought to visit the blog sometimes and read the comments, there are some funny people round here. They make that bus story seem like a party political broadcast on behalf of the wood party.
Tomorrow I will be feeding the animals. I get to feed the lambs for the first time. And of course there’s Nina. I always look forward to seeing her. Good times. You know, life isn’t always that bad. Once I get through the morning then the day isn’t too horrible.
Look at me being all positive and optimistic.

Soooo, you want to run that bus story by me one more time? I think I’m stuck somewhere in rural Denmark surrounded by lambs and geesers.
If we all come to Denmark to see the playground, will you be our tour guide? (Your worst fear realized: I’m a tour guide to foreign people!)
You are the only Danish person I know. You could be the head geeser with Luis Lemmings, Noodella, and me, the Debster following behind you! I’ll bet we could get Laura to come, too. We would expect soup, though.
(Plume thinks to himself: “What have I done? All these people want to come to the “Land Of Lambs”. Is it too late to tell them that lambs bite and leave horrific wounds? And no circling, can’t let foreign people circle me.)

Hay! Us goatzies went for walkies in the sunnyshiney day. We trots on white cold stuffs and eats many grasses. Peanuts were here for us goatzies from the two humanzes and much fresh cold waters to drink and drink. Shiny and pretty and softer goatzies are we now after combings of our goatzy hairs. We da goatzies! Baaaaaa.
Goatzies say Mini lamb looks like “accordian lamb”, not so much harmonica. What do goatzies no anyways! Lambies are pretty pretty.

Debster – I’m sorry, I never repeat myself! But rest assured that the bus story will appear again in my Greatest Hits collection, coming out next christmas on a blooray super high def dvd mega disc near you!
I will be a tour guide as long as you promise not to gather in a circle around me! Maybe if you sort of hide between trees and fences and shrubbery. Then I can pretend that I’m giving a tour to my imaginary friends, that’ll put me at ease.
Luis Lemmings – HEY MAAARGE!!
John-Boy & Billy – You guys are way clever. Are you in a band, how come you know so much about musical instruments? You must be v ery musical goats. Mads says hi. He doesn’t play any instruments. But he does sometimes sing in the (rain)shower.

Could we write notes to each other when we’re there on tour? We could pass them back and forth like when we were in school. We could be mute foreign peoples, like Mute Swans only without the white feathers and sharp pokey beaks!

I totally lol’ed at that video!
Nice goose, too. :)
I would LOVE to join in the playground tour in Denmark, and I have no problem hiding in trees if it makes you feel better. I love being in trees! As long as I can come down at some point to give Magnethe a hug. XD

Debster – You can pass notes. As long as you don’t start a mutiny. And ehm also, no communist propaganda.
Laura – Maybe we can get Magnethe to climb up the tree and hug you. That’d be a neat trick !

I’m a Capitalist and proud of it! This is a free tour of the playground, isn’t it? You haven’t decided to take advantage of us foreign peoples, now have you?
PS: Thank you for letting us pass notes, although you have to pass them as well.
