Enter Sandman

Oh, I am so tired. Didn’t sleep well last night. Bombed. So at work I was all like…

me sleepy

Totally.

Some important stuff happened too, but I’m too tired to write about it now. Instead, here is the sight that greeted me at the playground:

vanilje

Haha. Oh Vanilje. That picture is funnier if you have watched the “goats snooping” video from yesterday. They were snooping again today.

It was raining and hailing today.

magnethe mads

Which the goats do not like. Indoor weather, I think they call it. If ‘m translating correctly.

vanilje

And a character study of Vanilje. And then off to bed.

Sleepy Mads, sleepy Plume – hard to tell the two of you apart now. Which one of you wears glasses??? Did you paw around some before you laid down?

Yup, goatsies don’t like wet weather. Your goats played inside today instead of going out for recess like we used to do in grade school. We either played games in the classroom or went to the gymnasium to play when we couldn’t go outside.

Vanilje’s portrait looks like she’s been to a professional photographer with the black backdrop and all. She has beautifully long ears.

Sunday we saw Hank, the boar goat who lives down the road from us. He has eight girlfriends who are expecting in April. When Hank stands up and puts his front hooves on the fence, he’s standing almost eye-to-eye with me.

He is huge and just lovely. He’s a little smelly but we still gave him scratches and pats on the head. He loves attention, but doesn’t know his own strength, so we stayed outside the fence.

I LOVE that portrait of Vanilje!! It does look so professional. I am still trying to find a nice birthday gift for you. Things have been terribly busy on my end with work and then back to school…again! They give me something to do than just stay home. Even Moominlizard says I should be more productive. Then he’d yawn and go back to sunbathing on the patio.

I wish we had goats here…

Luis Lemmings: Is that schooling work-related or fun stuff? Like “Raising Moominlizards for Fun & Profit” or “Getting to Know Your Moominlizard” or the ever popular “Conversation with Your Moominlizard”?

It’s a hit: My husband & I ran into two customers we’d done painting for and guess what their newest pets are??? PYGMY GOATS! We’ve started something. We’re on the cutting edge of pygmy goats for everyone!

    aw, cute pic of you.

Debster – I didn’t paw around, but I did wag my tail good! Now THAT’S sleepy.
There should be a Goat Photograper career. Like people take their kids to be photograppped, they could take their goats to me. Yes.
Hank, what a manly name for a manly goat. He sounds like quite the stud. With a girlfriend in every barn, I bet.
I love that pygmy goats are a hit! There was a post in my go_go_goats community recently from someone who just got two pygmies as well. It’s locked, but I’m sure they won’t mind if I post links to a couple of pictures.

Aren’t they just adorable. Flip reminds me of Mads. Damn I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and meet him as a kid. I mean, when HE was a kid. Not when I was a kid. Although that might be funny as well.

    Gah!

Luis Lemmings – Maybe you should get me a couple of pygmy goats! Hah, if only. Maybe I don’t need to look for a place where I can have a cat, maybe I need to look for a place where I can have goats. Good luck with the schooling. What’s that all about?

Clare – I think you spelled “sexy” wrong. Mkay.

Oh, the first goat lookes like a little “mini me Mads”. They are both so cute and so little. Makes me remember our boys when they were baby goats.
