Such cute pics! :) hang in there Plume, the sleep fairy is on her way! I bet she’s real busy trying to put this one 19 year-old over caffeinated dude I know to sleep, so it might take some time till she reaches us. I have no idea what is up with this, but lately I also have trouble falling asleep, so I usually end up sleeping about 4 hours & that’s just no good, when I know that I need at least 7 to feel ok. my last resort is to try and drink some hot milk before going to bed. or maybe cocoa would do? isn’t that like a natural sleeping pill? :D you are so not alone in this!

    Dear Farmer Plume:

We saw a day old foal on Sunday. Her legs were almost as tall as her mama’s legs. This place raises horses and has around 90 mares ready to have their babies anytime. They also had two dogs that had recently been “skunked”. Whew . . . fragrant doggies even after their baths!

They are building a campground for trail riders and we’re going to paint a couple of ceilings for them. We do get to go to interesting places and meet wonderful animals when we go to paint for their owners.

PS: What does the rabbit say?

I just love the little piggies! People say they’re smarter than dogs, and I believe that.

Milla – The sleep fairy came last night. I was very happy to see him, in his pink tutu and that long, blond wig. At least I hope it was the sleep fairy! Hope you’ll get some sleep too. Hugsalot!

Clare – Akira the lamb! :-P

Debster – That’s quite a coincidence about the foal. I shall be seeing one very soon as well. I hope it will be wonderful. It’s too bad that the playground people take care of their own painting, otherwise maybe I could have put in a good work for you and had you come over to paint it.
The rabbit goes “ribbit”. It thinks it’s a frog! That’s why it always jumps, you see.

Luis Lemmings – Glad to see you back Luis, I was getting worried almost. The piglets are definitely smart. I can tell by their eyes, I swear. They are very aware.

Your description of the sleep fairy is so spot on :D thanks for making me laugh :) I’m so glad you got some good night’s sleep. wish you even better rest tonight!

I’ll send some of our rain your way for cool nights rest. I hope you get a break. I love all the pictures and your Mix-a-la-mande looks delicious. Eggs? Potatoes? and Cheese? Yummy! Hope sleep is coming to you. Where is that dang sandman when you need him??? Take care.

  8. Plume Says:

Debbie – Some rain would be lovely. I seem to be sleeping better again. Hopefully it will last. There was no cheese in my mixalamande, but that’s a good idea! I shall try that out some time.
