A Smile On The Face Of A Child
Lots of pictures to post today. And not much else. So let’s get going. Starting off with my favourite.
Vanilje and a boy. I like the happy smile on his face.
goats bring happiness, it is a proven fact. I refer you to Plume’s Study of Happy Stuff for scientifically proven statistics of goat influence on human moods.
Lambs will also do quite nicely.
They look cute and silly when they come running towards you. I shall probably have a video youtubed of that soon.
“Man, I got so wasted last night. My head is killing me”. Teehee. Magnethe is so cute.
Another funny picturrr. I set the timer on my camera, wanting to take a picture of Magnethe poking her head out of the hatch. But of course she decided to jump out just as the timer went off. So instead of a picture of Magnethe looking out at me I got a picture of me trying to catch her and keep her in the frame.
Her belly. I wonder if there are goatlings in there? But the point of the picture is to show those little white hairs that she has grown. It almost looks like the white spot under her belly is spreading upwards.
Mads not forgotten. I love when something catches the goats’ attention and they quickly turn their head. They are very good at spotting things. Especially people. I’ll be sitting next to Mads and his head turns quickly in some direction. I turn and look and somewhere far away in the distance there’s a human moving around. Someone I never would have spotted myself, but the goats see all. The goats know all. The goats are all around. All praise the goats.
Vanilje jumps up on the fence like that quite often. She’ll run to the fence, jump up, swerve her head around, baah and jump back down. Much to my entertainment.
The geeselings are a-growing.
Soon they will probably be honking and chasing everyone away.
Kurt taking a girl out to ride on Musse. Usually Alice is the one who takes the horses out when kids want to ride them. But it doesn’t look like Kurt minds.
And that’s all, folks. The weather has cooled down the last couple of days. There has even been a little summer rain. Much nicer. And comfortably Danish summery.
Hola.

CHRISTMAS 1974: PLUME AND LUIS LEMMINGS
PLUME: Well, LL…ready to open your presents?
LL: Sure, Plume…I guess so (sigh).
PLUME: You certainly don’t seem very excited about it.
LL: Last year, you gave me a bag of potting soil and a curtain rod.
PLUME: Well, what’d you expect? You never played with those expensive
cinder blocks I bought you the year before.

awww, Magnethe is such a poser (I mean this in a very good way :), that’s awesome. and that pic of you three is su fun, seems like you and Mads are trying to get Magnethe back indoors (to sober up ;D) and she’s like ‘I’m free! tra la laaa!’ :))) and Mads is one stylish goat, I sometimes wonder… does he dye his facial hair secretly? and Vanilje is so dynamic :) uh, and the lambs are purrrty! and the geeselings too! I watched a couple of swans with their little ones swim around at a nearby pond, what a sight that was :)
Hugsh!

So goat wrestling is the “in” thing in Denmark now. I think Magnethe is winning.
Milla, I think Mads has his hair done at a full-service beauty salon! He gets his roots touched-up, his nails done, and a comb-out! Our three goat boys love to be combed/brushed.
I want to ride the pony!

Stu – Preach it brotha.
Luis Lemmings – Ahaha. I remember it well. That was the christmas I got drunk on eggnog and drove the county firetruck through the hedge maze and busted out all the poor department store santas out of there!
Milla – Strike the pose! Hehe now that I look at the picture I can see that it looks like Mads is getting ready to ram her back inside! In truth all he was doing was scratching himself behind the ear! You make me laugh!
I’ll have to ask Mads about his secret beauty tips :)
Debster – Oh you know I’m going to be a great wrestling star. El Grandioso Danese Plumio And His Wrestling Goats. It’s bound to be a success!
It’s been a while since I have combed the goats. I should do that soon. In a break between all the wrestling, of course.
I’ll see if I can set up an appointment with the pony, there’s usually a waiting list of kids!
