Bye Bye Baiji
Last night was nice and quiet. I slept without earplugs and barely heard a noise.
And today was a nice and quiet day. Notalot happened. Had dinner with the parents and fixed up some computer stuff for them.
Got more nice mail! A housewarming gift from Belinda. An ice cube tree (EDIT: tree? that was an odd Freudian slip. I mean “tray” of course). With apple-shaped cubes (EDIT: Oh I get it. Apples grow on trees. Makes sense now). It’s lovely, thank you Belinda! For the card as well. I am a big fan of cold drinks with ice in them, so it’s certainly both cute and useful. You are a star.
It’s Wednesday today. That means I have had my appartment for a whole week now. Of course I didn’t move in right away, so I haven’t been living here for a full week yet. But I’m starting to settle in pretty well I think. Getting used to the life.
I need to make an effort to get my last stuff unpacked though. I still have the three biggest boxes left. I’ll do it soon, I swear. The USB cable must be in one of them. Statistically it’s extremely likely at least.
I need to figure out how to get the answerphone dealie to work on my cellphone too. When I don’t pick up a call it should go to the answerphone. It doesn’t. Instead it goes to “the number doesn’t exist” tone and hangs up. Which I find a bit weird. Technology, pah. If I could have one wish then it would be for the world to be free of cell phones.
Well, not really. But it would be on the list. Somewhere around no. 72 probably. Right after “world peace” and just before “ducks quacking louder”. My list of wishes is long and complicated. Fore I am a complicated being. Ayight.
Wishes are too late for these guys though: China dolphin extinction. When the alien overlords come they will judge us, and judge us harshly. Don’t blame me. I voted for Kodos.

I’ll mail you soon, but I’m having to live on 20 quid a week at the moment, so I dunno when it’ll be :3 x

Belinda – I am very pleased with it. I shall break it in tonight, with a smooth glass of refreshing cola. It’s summerhot, so all the more pleasureable!
Clare – The best things in life are free. No wait, the second best things in life are free. The really best ones are ****ing expensive :-P
Just send me your love and I am happy as a bee in a field of flowers.
