Murrayed
Uh oh. Scrooged was on the telly tonight. I said to myself I said “I’ve seen it a million times, I’m not going to watch it again”. And of course I watched it again. I never get tired of it. Even the sappy, sappy singalong ending. Oh dear. It’s not really christmas without Scrooged.
I accidentally typed “oh dead” instead of “oh dear”. Hah. How appropriate, what with the ghosts and skeletons.
And then I accidentally typed “the goats” instead of “the ghosts”. What the heart is full of..
Other than that, all is quiet in Plume town. Had a jolly time feeding the animals today.
Special appearance by Nina.
Hope ya’ll’s enjoying the weekend. And don’t forget that christmas is just around the corner. Time to panic! EVERYBODY DO SOMETHING, FOR THE LOVE OF PANCAKES!

We had pancakes the other night for supper, by the way.
I haven’t seen Scrooged yet this year. Darn! I have seen Little Ralphie and the Red Rider BB gun (A Christmas Story?). I haven’t seen “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” yet either.
Nina is looking very contented. Give her a good pet and a scratch for me when you see her next.

Debster – I feel like making pancakes soon. I have an old photocopied recipe from one of my mother’s books. I remember packing it when I moved. Now I just need some flour..
I haven’t seen “Little Ralphie and the Red Rider BB gun”. Ever. The grinch is actually on telly this Wednesday though, maybe I’ll catch it.

Oh my! You must see the “Christmas Story” with little Ralphie. It is a great big slice of American life (or what I remember as a kid). You would really enjoy watching it.
His Dad is always cussing at the furnace or the Christmas tree lights or blowing fuses. The trip to see Santa is very funny. And of course, the inappropriate gifts from relatives who haven’t seen Ralphie in years and also thinks he’s a “girl” (hence the pink bunny pajamas complete with bunny ears and feet in the pj’s.)

Debster – I dont think I have ever even heard of it. But I shall keep my eyes out for it.
