PS. Plume Loves You
Some kids came ’round the playground today. Kindergarteners or daycare or something like that. One of the adults came up to the fence and said that they had brought some carrots and would it be okay if they gave them to the goats?
I had to talk that over with the goats for a while, because they were a bit skeptic about the whole thing. But finally I managed to persuade them to allow the kids to feed them carrots. Jolly nice of them, don’t you think?
Although Mads actually decided to stay on the bench next to me, instead of running off to get carrots. Maybe he wasn’t hungry. STOP LAUGHING. It could happen.
Vanilje got the first carrot.
And she enjoyed it a lot.
Mmm, that’s good carrot. I don’t understand how come your goats don’t like carrots, Debster? Have you tried steaming them? The carrots, I mean. I’m not sure goats like saunas.
There’s Magnethe, the pretty lady. Are you getting ready to give us some wee kiddies, girl? A couple of days ago I got an email alert that someone had left me a ccomment on youtube. On this here video. I went to read the comment and stayed to watch the video. Boy those were good times. Having six goat kids jumping all over me like that. Wow. Look at Vanilje, climbing me like I was Mount Everest. If she did that today I’d break my back. I can’t wait for the new kids.
Vanilje sure did turn out alright. I can’t believe it’s almost her turn to be a mother now. It’s hard to imagine. Just like it was before Magnethe had her kid. It’s such a beautiful thing.
Kurt was there today. That was a nice surprise. I haven’t seen him in ages. I think actually the last time I saw him might have been the christmas party. He has not been doing too well. Sick leave. As far as I have been able to tell it’s stress related. Today they were talking about him coming back, but not full time. He’s not up for that. I hope he will be feeling better soon. And that he’ll be able to get back to the playground. He’s a great guy, as I’ve mentioned once or twice. Plus he needs to bring some new lambs around soon! It’s not the same without sheepies.
New lambs and new goat kids, that’d be the bee’s knees.

That was nice of the visitors to bring carrots. Vanilje looks so funny with that bright orange carrot in her mouth! hee, hee And she looks so satisfied and happy when she’s eaten it. I don’t know why our boys don’t like carrots. I’ll have to try some more on them again.
That’s too bad about Kurt. You and I both know what it’s like to have stress-related problems to deal with. That’s one reason why I like to help you out as I’ve been there somewhat as well. I just don’t tell everyone that I’ve had depression issues for as long as I can remember. But it helps me to help you. And since others have helped me, I feel the need to return the favor to someone else.
Maybe you could pass along some of that help to Kurt? I’m sure he would appreciate a little note of concern or encouragement from you. Maybe a goat pictures would help. I don’t know what your privacy rights are in Denmark (as far as the staff giving out his home address), but maybe they would write in his address and send it if you had it ready to go and stamped. Even a “hi, just thinking of you and hope you’re doing better”, signed Lasse would be great. He’s always been so nice to you, now is a chance for you to repay him for his kindness.

Debster – She sure enjoys that carrot! Maybe your goats are just picky. Only high cuisine for them!
I always thought you were here just for the goats, and then it turns out you’re here for little old me after all? It is very sweet that you want to help me, and it’s very appreciated too. You are definitely a good help, in many ways. Blogging wouldn’t be the same without you. And you may think I’m making this up, but you helped me in my dream tonight! I was traveling. I think I was going to go see Skye in Holland. But I was getting very frustrated and stressed (!) because of tickets and stuff. I sat at a bench and threw my stuff on there and was getting ready to cry and then you were there and I don’t remember exactly what was said but I remember you gave me advice and calmed me down. Even in dreams I am not safe from the Debster!
That’s a good idea about Kurt too. I’m pretty sue I should be able to get his address. I’ll see if I can come up with something. Thanks Deb!

Beware, beware the Debster is everywhere!
Don’t be silly, my dear danish boy, of course it’s your goats I’m after. hee, hee.
I’ve just given you the tools to change, you’re the one doing all the hard work and helping yourself.
