No Country For Old Plumes

Another year older and deeper in debt.

Except I’m not in debt. And I don’t really feel older.

Start again.

I am 30 years old. Now. It feels odd, to say it. I don’t feel that old. But on the other hand I’m not a kid anymore. And that’s okay. Life goes on, slowly.

The dinner with the family yesterday went just fine. We went to Rådhus Caféen, like the day my parents got married. I was a little nervous that I’d feel bad because the place would be crowded in the afternoon. But we were seated in a corner so it wasn’t really a problem. I had a good time. Excellent pork slices with potatoes and lovely parsley sauce. It was as good as the first time we were there. And once again it was nice to be out and do something as a family. That is one of the major improvements in my life since I moved out on my own. I feel much better doing family things like that.

So all in all it was a good birthday with goat babies and family outing. I can’t really ask for more than that.

Today I have been relaxing. Tired body. Next week will be all about the goat babies. And here is a little present for you guys: http://youtube.com/watch?v=6DLfx56N-jc. Various scenes from my first day with the little girls. Enjoy.

I’m happy to hear the birthday celebration went well. Did you save me some pork and potatoes???

The little girls are so cute. I think Magnethe and the kids think of you as another goat. Magnethe is so calm while you’re in the stall with her babies and the kids come right over to you. All three of them are just beautiful.

Didn’t mean to miss your birthday, but only just got reconnected to the internet at the new house.

Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you enjoy being in your thirties.

The babies are gorgeous – look at them bouncing around. How absolutely adorable! Lakrids og Karamel! They are lovely, Plume.

Hi, Desiree. Glad to hear from you. I peeked at your blog a little. So sorry about the depression. I’ve never had kids (other than goats!), but I do know about depression. Hope you are feeling some better every day!

Did the postman bring you anything from me yet?

  7. Plume Says:

Debster – Uhm.. I did save you some pork and potatoes.. but.. the goats ate it! Yes, that’s it. The goats ate it. I swear. Greedy goats!
I’d like it if they thought of me as a goat. Sometimes I think of myself as a goat. Sometimes I think of myself as an armoire and the emperor of France. But I’m not crazy!
And yes, the postman has delivered, once again. Thank you! I hope you enjoy the picture. I should get a pair of strapon horns, to look more goatlike. Twould do me good!

Desiree – Thank you muchly. My thirties are treating me well so far. I shan’t complain. I hope you’re doing okay, that things will get better. If there is anything I can do please let me know.
