Out And About
My body is feeling much better. The arms still a little sore, but not much. I can open cola bottles without pain now.
I’m very tired, though. So not much blogging going on. Just want to mention that the playground opened up after the Easter holiday today. And we celebrated by letting Magnethe and the kids loose on the premises. It was so great, seeing the kids run around and explore the place. They have so much energy. I love the randomness of their runs. Run to the left! Run to the right! Run back from where you came! Jump! Jump! Run to the left! And so on.
I made a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPAX58QS0pE. As you can see, Magnethe has not forgotten where the food is stored. I love that clapping sound of the lids. Although she’s not supposed to serve herself like that.
And now sleep me good.

Get lots of rest, Plume. It’s always hard to keep track of how many hours a person keeps when they have much to do. I’m guilty of that as anyone else.
I still mean to send you off a nice, now belated, birthday card. I’m recovering from bronchitis which I reinfected myself, as my doctor said, because I didn’t listen to my body to get enough rest and sleep.
So rest or end up taking four different medications and an inhaler that costs $225 a month and which I refused to pay for another month.
I swear living in grand ole’ America is wonderful. But man you get nickled and dimed to death!!
This is NOT a country to be if you’re poor.

Bronchitis … my husband has that all the time. I’ve never had it, I just have allergies and colds when I get sick. Hope you are feeling better, LuisLemmings!

I think your husband and I are in good company with so many others who have it. You know it takes weeks, if not months, for bronchitis to go away.
Thank goodness you’ve never had it. I honestly would never wish it on my worst enemy! Every four years I get this and I do blame myself because I don’t take the time to get that flu shot.
I asked my doctor about that and she said the flu shot would have most likely prevented what I have now.
So I hope you and your husband get the flu shot. I know I’m going to when the time for it comes at the end of this year.

LuisLemmings – I hope you’ll get better soon Luis. Bronchitis, that sounds sort of like a Dinosaur, doesn’t it. But that’s neither here nor there. I’ll make sure to get my rest so I don’t get trampled by dinos.
Debster – My mother and brother has allergies. I guess I have been lucky. Apart from my “onion allergy”. It’s a serious, medical condition, I swear!
