Jai Guru Deva Om

I seem to be doing better, thank you very much. Slight stomach rumbles and a little headache. But nothing serious. A marked improvement.

I managed to get the laundry done, thankfully. Yay for clean clothes. And while the washing machines did their magic I went shopping and stocked up on the bare necessities.

And then I was out of energy. I haven’t seen the goat kids since Saturday. Weird. What am I, some kind of not-crazy goat person? Tomorrow I shall definitely go to the playground and devote my day to being jumped upon and climbed and pounded repeatedly by eight little hoves. As life should be.

Did I mention that I like Rufus Wainwright? Sweet cover of Across The Universe. And his Halleluja is to die for. Almost as good as Tina and Steffen’s!

And now sleep, because it is in bed that we are divine.

Feeling better and clean clothes! Now that’s nice, isn’t it?

Across the Universe is a John Lennon song, isn’t it? I like the Rufus Wainwright version as well.

Question: Have you noticed how the goatzies hair is softer when it’s drier outside and it’s coarser feeling when it is very humid? We have had lots of rain lately and we can sure feel hair texture difference.

My hair is naturally curly, so when it gets wet (which it did today) it curls up tight. I can sometimes feel it curl when it’s very humid and damp outside, especially at night. Weird feeling when you feel your own hair curl!

I think I need “to get a life” when I start thinking too much about goat hair texture! hee, hee

Debster – Well I still got clean clothes!
Yes, it’s a Lennon song. I’d never heard the Beatles version, didn’t even know the song until someone did it on American Idol. Imagine that.
I have noticed the goats hair changing, but I hadn’t connected it to the humidity of the air. Further studies are needed on the subject I think! Goat research, tha’ts my idea of good living!
