Mariska Hargitay, Mariska Hargitay
Phew. I meant to write yesterday. But then I fell into asleep. I didna mean to. It was just too hot do anything. It was too hot to sleep too, but somehow I managed. And then the day was gone.
Maybe I was tired from feeding the animals. It’s not like it’s a huge job, but when it is this hot then little Plumes suffer. Other than a little bunny-chasing it wasn’t very eventful. I had to grab 4-5 bunnies outside. I think some of them may have actually been out overnight. I’m not sure though. Luckily the big, grey ones that live with the chickens in the goat house are usually pretty easy to catch. They are somewhat sluggish. There was one of the smaller bunnies from the bunny house outside too, though. Those are the bunnies that kids take care of. And they are not sluggish. I couldn’t catch the little thing. Eventually I managed to guide it back into the bunny house, though. There’s nothing like running around after bunnies in the sunshine. No there isn’t.
some pictures, also of the animals.
Magnethe, reaching for more old bread. When I buy bread (krydderboller, some kind of rolls or buns or whatever) I have to buy packs of 12. It’s actually more expensive if I buy less. So I buy a pack of 12. And a week later I have eaten maybe 8, if I’m lucky. I know I could freeze them and stuff. But I just prefer to have fresher bread. So when I buy a new pack then I usually have 4-5 left over. The goats benifit greatly from this supply/demand situation and its leftover consequences.
Mama Magnethe and the girls.
And how are the horses doing, you ask?
They are doing quite well. There above is Musse. And below is Sille.
I wonder if they’ll be trying to get her pregnant this year. Since they tried and failed last year. A little foal would be something glorious.
Two goats, one bucket. Mhm.
On my way home I did some shopping. And treated myself to strawberries. There’s not much better on a hot summer day. A bowl of ice-cold milk and strawberries. I also mixed in a slush ice. Experimentation. Bit odd flavour, but wonderfully cold and refreshing. Just what the doctor ordered. Dr Feelgood McLuvin.
Today has been quite quiet. Apart from when someone threw a bottle at my window. I heard glass breaking and at first I thought someone had thrown a rock through my window or something. But when I went to investigate I saw that the window wasn’t broken. So I looked out on my little balcony-walk. And there lay a broken bottle. I’m not sure if it bounced off my window. Or perhaps the wall below the window, although I think it would be hard to throw it over the fence and hit under the window. Maybe it was thrown up in the air, sort of lobbed, and landed and broke on the balcony-floor. I’m not sure. The perpetrators were gone by the time I looked out. It was probably just some hoodlum kids getting high on soda and throwing their bottle around randomly. I’m glad the window wasn’t broken. I need a guard-goat. I think Thor would be very good for the job. He could walk around down under my window and eat the grass and scare off hoodlum kids. I don’t know what hoodlum really means, but it sounds appropriate.
In other news, Brøndby has had a terrific start to the footie season and I am well pleased. This year things will be better, you mark my words. And having 1-2 games a week live on the telly makes for happy Plume.
There are a lot of movies I’d like to watch at the moment. X-Files 2. Indy 4. Batman 2 (depending on where you start the counting, I guess). Hancock, maybe? Empty calories for when the brain is fizzled by the sun.
Sizzle, fizzle, woozle wozzle.

I like Sille’s multi-colored mane. Humans would pay good money to have their hair streaked/highlighted to look like that!
