So Long And Thanks For All The Sugar
I didn’t get to see the goats today. My coughing has progressed to hurting throat and stuffed nose and fatigue. So I am down again. Luckily I had the foresight to acquire some nosespray, so at least I’ll be breathing okay.
And my sugar levels are okay too. A bit high this morning. 9,1. It’s always highest in the morning, before I take my insulin and pills. But it dropped to 7ish at the next measure. And 4,9 before dinner. So that’s good. I am somewhat relieved that I am managing it and not having to starve myself or completely rob myself of anything good and nice. It all could be worse.
Just got a call from the family. They are returning from Greenland today. They’re in Copenhagen now so they’ll be home in Århus later tonight. I look forward to hearing more about the trip. And hopefully seeing some nice pictures.
But for now I think I’m going to go cough and sleep. In that order.

You’re going through “goat withdrawal”. That’s what happens when you don’t get to see goats all the time.
Our goats are all poofy in their winter coats. Even their little faces are fluffy. Billy just keeps getting darker and darker on his face and legs.
Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Tell your family “welcome home” from me!
