Shake Your Sugar Maker
I feel horrible. Plain old horrible. Constantly coughing and sneexing and aching and just blergh. I want to crawl under a rock and die. But I guess I’ll settle for crawling into bed and sleeping. I think this is the worst cold I have ever had.
I have had visits from both mum and dad today. They are both very supportive. Both about the diabetes and about the cold. My dad brought me some supplies so I don’t have to be going out. I have to feed the animals on Saturday, though. I’m not sure I’ll be up to that. I guess I’ll see how I feel tomorrow and if it’s no good then I’ll call and ask them to make other arrangements. I do really want to see the goats, though. If I don’t get to go over the weekend then it’ll be a couple of weeks since I last saw them. That might very well be the longest time apart from them ever. That ain’t right. Maybe they can come for a sick visit. If I tell them that my apartment is full of greens they might just agree to it.
I can’t take it anymore. I’m going to bed.

Hope you get to feeling better soon. Do you ever get a flu shot? The doctor’s around here recommend getting one if you have diabetes.
Let’s hope it’s just a common cold and you’re better in a few days.
Did I tell you I’ve seen Christmas lights up already? I don’t think some people even waited for Halloween before their tree was up.
We’ve also had some little bits of snow in the air. Nothing serious, just a flake here and there a few days ago.

Dude, you sound awful!! Rest a lot; drink plenty of fluids; and see if someone can take your place at the playground. Being that sick is awful on the lungs and to be outdoors will make things worse. So bundle up and stay home. I’m sure the goats and everyone there misses you terribly. But your health is much more important right now.
Debster, I think it’s neat people have their lights up. With how things are in the USA (everything’s tanking so bad it’s beyond depression), just having some twinkling lights gets your mind off the terrible economy we’re having.

Luis: Thanks for not being a grumpy git dissing all things Christmas. I’m going to start a Facebook group dissing Scrooges and Grinches.
Plume, you really should get a flu shot – also, sounds to me your body is going through some adjustments and withdrawel along with the flu. I really hope you feel better soon.
Oh, and Raven L-O-V-E-D the letter from Santa. Like, she really, really enjoyed it! Walked around with it for ages. Yay!

Debster – I think I’m getting better. Hopefully. I never get flu shots, but maybe I should now. Better than getting the flu.
Christmas lights! That was early. But then the playground christmas party is in a week, so tis the season already!
Luislemmings – Awful is right. But the worst is over I hope. I’ll stay under the covers until I’m all better.
At least the christmas light selling business must be going ok!
Desiree – Aw I’m glad Raven liked it. That’s swell. Makes me all happy and warm inside. In a much better way than the cold does.
