This was one of my favourite bits on Lost. Rose and Bernard just retiring in a hut at the beach. Everyone was running around, traveling in time, fighting Others and monsters and Dharma Initiative and good vs evil, light vs dark, nuke, guns flaming arrows.
And Rose and Bernard just wanted to sit on the beach and love each other and take care of Vincent the dog. I know it’s just a little thing. But I always found that to be really deep and moving in some weird way. They loved each other and that was all they needed. We all gotta die somewhere some place. Don’t worry bout the end, worry bout the now. Make sure to love.

Good goat times today. It was a lovely day. Lots of sunshine. And I think it may have gotten up around 10C/50F. And guess what? I TOOK OFF MY COAT! spent some time in t-shirt. Awyeah, feelsgoodman. Maybe a little chilly for it yet, and it will probably be a long whiel before I can do that regularly. But it was just nice to take the coat off for the first time this year.
I mean, for the first time in the goat pen. I take it off when I get home. You probably could have guessed that…
Anyway, that was great. And the heat was on in other ways. Lily was acting up again. But even more this time. Not just little grunting. Like full blown WAA WAA like a buck in heat. Practically spluttering too. Good thing lady goats don’t wear the same kind of perfume that bucks do, is all I’m saying.
She was really hilarioud. Mia was not thrilled. At one point both Sassy and Lily were bothering her. Sassy butting heads and Lilly all blubbering on her. And Mia was not amused. She did that little whinny she does when she’s not happy. It’s not a big “help i’m in distress” bleat. More like a little “this ain’t right dude do something”. So cute. She was smelling pretty musky too, Mia. I wonder if that’s what was setting off Lily. Maybe they’re all in heat. It was completely redonk, though. I, unlike Mia, was highly amused.

Did some ahrd physical labour today. See that big rock in the middle? I dragged that over from little pile of logs. It is very heavy. So heavy I couldn’t lift it, couldn’t even get it off the ground. I had to roll it slowly along, and that wasn’t easy either. I’m going to be feeling it tomorrow…
I also managed to get my finger stuck between the rock and a hard place. I am feeling that already. I actually thought I might loose a fingernail over it. But it’s probably not that bad. Sore, though, and with a dark spot under the nail.
so why did I do it? Because that board there, where the ‘tower’ used to be, has been very loose. When I got there today it was knocked all the way off pretty much. So I hd to try and fix that. I dragged that rock over and then a log on the other side. Seems to have fairly secured it. It’s such a good place for the goats to sit and stand. And when the weather gets better more permanently maybe I can dish out some pumpkin seeds on it again.
Anyway, now i’m very tired and going to bed.

Hope you’re all doing alright out there in the weather. I know it’s been crazy in places.
The forecast is looking pretty crazy in Denmark too. But in the good way. We could get temperatures around 10C/50F next week. After weeks of temperatures below zero both night and day, that would be pretty extraordinary. Fingers crossed. I’m really glad I got snowtimes this witner, I missed that last winter. But I would really like to get some spring soon. Green grass and leaves for the goats and sunshine for me.

Good goat times today. Cold and wet. But temperatures above freezing, so I’m thankful for that. I arrived just before a lady with some kids. “Oh I’m happy you’re here, they don’t come over to the fence when you’re not here!”. Another few kids and another lady arrived, and the kids enjoyed petting the goats, while the ladies enjoyed listening to the crunching of pasta.
Other than that, fairly downcast, in the grey, with occasional rain showers. Several goat yawns from Milo, Sky and Mia. One of those days where just want to stay in bed and hope the sun will come out. It did not.
Hopefully the pasta made up for it.

Stopped by my parents place after goating today, for some tech support duty. They were having printer problems. I think I managed to fix it. Which saves me the trouble of helping them buy a new printer. So that’s good. It was one of those things that would have been super easy to fix back in the day, but it’s super hard when you’re practically blind. It’s frustrating, because tech support help is one of the things I can do to help my parents in return for all the help they give me.
Anyway, hopefully it stays fixed. And don’t get me started on what a scam printers have become. It’s like photoshop. Buying a printer is a subscription service now. Not to mention they assume everyone is on wifi these days. You’ll have to pry my cables from cold de

Good soup times today. Over to the parents for a pot of soup. Good as always. But… not all was well. One of the containers had malfunctioned somehow and a big portion of the soup had trickled out while it was cooling down outside. Noooooo! Thoughts and prayers for the lost soup. Sniffle. Honestly this makes me feel worse than anything that’s happened in the world the last year and a half.
… okay, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration. But it does suck. One of my favourite parts of getting soup with the folks is eating leftover soup for days. There’s just about enough for a serving tomorrow. And of course we a had a loely dinner today. So all is not lost. But about half the soup was.
just goes to show you should never take anything for granted. Especially soup.
Good news for my pizza place, though.
