The Frost Pen Report

December 14th, 2014

It’s been a week.

Can’t argue with that. We’re just about halfway into December now. I can’t hardly believe it. Christmas is just 10 days away, and a cartridge in a dox matrix printer tree. Something something. The forecast says 7% chance of a white christmas, apparently. We did have some snow in Denmark this week. But I don’t think we got any around here. At least not while I peeked out the windows.

I did have one frosty morning. The goat pen covered in white frostiness. The water bucket in the pen iced over. Brrr. But maybe that’s better than all the mud we’ve also had after passing storms? I do prefer when the sun shines, I do I do. It’s nice seeing the sun rise when I’m up at the goats early. The sun rises late, so I get to see it come up over the treeline.

Other than that there’s really not much to tell. Maybe the goats have a story or two?

Starting with another meme.

Kamel thought the family photo needed a little more snout.

I think Mia may be starting to grow a little beard…

Yup. I wonder if it’ll get to Mio’s size? It would be weird to see her like that after so long with no beard!

An early christmas present from Bodil! It’s a christmas mouse. Or rat? It talks. If you say something to it, it will say it back in a mousy voice. When Bodil showed it to me I had to laugh out loud which made the mouse laugh, which made Bodil laugh which made the mouse laugh again. It’s a silly old thing! The goats weren’t talkative so I didn’t get any goat playback. But Palle did try to eat its christmas hat.

Phftttt.

It’s the mud season!

The incredible two-headed goat kid!

Phew! I hope you like goats.

And if you do, there’s also a goatlog. With Mia’s beard. With frost and sunrise. With Bruce surfing the wheelbarrow. Rainy day brother fight. Talking mouse. And so on.

And that’s all for this folks, see you in the next week.

The Goat Picture Show

December 7th, 2014

Another week down. We’re into December now. If my calendar can be trusted. Christmas decorations went up in the goat pen. Quickly to be torn down and eaten by the goats. It’s the circle of food. It’s been cold. Very cold at times. But there has been spots of sunshine as well. So we take what we can gets.

I am not feeling alltogether great right now, though. So I think we’ll just go straight to the goat photos why don’t we. Starting with a little spoof of the new Star Wars.

Oh the fun we have.

Crowded at the hayholder while Kamel gets some to herself.

Looks like Mia enjoyed the banana moosh I brought.

Still not a fan of the ball.

And neither is Mio. Spot her hiding behind the playhouse.

That was supposed to be a picture of Mia on the bench.

And a goatlog. With the dodgeball. And goat kid sillyness. Mio trying to get into my backpack. And all that jazz.

And that’s all for this week. See you in the next one.
