Baby Goat I’m Amazed
It’s been a big week. A huge week. Of amazing fun and adventures. With Mia’s little boy. He still hasn’t got a name. I’ve got a list of suggestions from Mia’s Facebook friends. Maybe we can use one of those. We’ll see!
But he’s amazing. So full of life and joy. Jumping around like a goofball. He’s been face to face with the other goats, with kids, with me, with Bodil’s little dog Sif. No fear. I went to get him a box to jump on. It turned out to be a little too big. But 30 minutes later. after many failed attemps, he managed to get up on it. He’s very determined and ambitious and no doubt with big thoughts of himself. Appropriately so. Mia is keeping a close eye on everything. Lots of little worried noises. And lots of milk sessions. She’s doing great, and so is he. It makes me really happy, after what happened. I needed some good.
On Monday we even had snow. I thought we’d seen the last of that. It was half raining and sleeting while I walked to the playground. And then for a few hours it snowed lovely and covered everything. And then it started to thaw. By the time I was walking home all the snow was gone and the sun was shining. Like all the different seasons came together to say hello and welcome the little goat boy.
I can barely remember all the lovely things that have happened. So you should probably watch the goatlogs instead. Only an hour’s worth. I could have filled twice that.
Also, photos.
Where’s Waldo? Oh there he is. Waldo is also one of the name suggestions.
And goatlogs. With tons of amazing cuteness and wonder. I know it’s a lot to watch, but I think it’s all worth it.

And that’s all for this week. As if it wasn’t enough! Plenty more next week, I’m sure.

Nothing sweeter than a baby goat. I think Waldo would be a good name for the little guy. And then you can say: “Where’s Waldo?” The human kid visitors will like looking for Waldo and shouting out when they find him.
We did get more snow over the weekend. It is going to warm up later this week and then get sloppy and melty. But I can live with mud, if it means warmer weather.

Only problem is that Waldo isn’t called Waldo in Danish! I think he’s called Holger. If memory serves. Anyway, The little guy has been named Peanut! So we’ll always know where he is!
It’s getting warmer here too. 10+ today. Amazing. Come on spring.
