Growing Your Own Leonard Nimoy

Today was one of the bad days, unfortunately. It’s so stupid. After the niceness yesterday, I should have staid in that good place. But instead I ended up back in bed and feeling sorry for myself.

Oh well. At least I managed to get up later on. Even did a little exercise biking. And I’m feeling okay now. So it’s not the end of the world.

I will think nice thoughts. Of lambs.

I love those silly lamb smiles.

I can’t tell which one is the boy and which is the girl. But I’m sure I’ll get to know them soon enough.

Tomorrow I must go and say hi to them and be positive.

And in the positive vein, I must say thank you for some new cards I have received. There was one from good old Luis. Along with some wicked Godzilla cards that I will appreciate all the more when my sight comes back eventually. And a card from Stu and Helen. As I said in the card I sent you guys, I hope there’s a long, happy future ahead of you. And finally a card from Desiree, who has such a lovely family. I adore those kids of yours. And your help and advice (and (legal) drugs) are always appreciated! (Everybody should go look at the video of Arthur in the latest entry)

So thank you all and to all a thank you alls. Your cards and comments have helped me a lot with everything I have gone through. Sometimes I feel like I don’t deserve all the niceness you bring. But I appreciate it, I do.

Smooch!

Exercise biked: 35km. (that’s the total since I got the bike, not what I did just today. I think you misunderstood that Stu!)

Those lambs are sooooo cute! Nearly as cute as Arthur ;)

You’re very welcome – for the card, I mean. I thought the reindeer looked a little goat like, so thought you’d like it. Were you able to read it? Not that it was revolutionary thoughts or anything, but still – nice to be able to read ones card ;) I finally got your present sorted, too, but it’ll be a New Years present, I think, as I don’t think it’ll make it to yours in time for xmas eve.

Baaa! Such pretty, pretty lambies! Their wool has a golden look to it.

We had freezing rain/ice last night. Makes it interesting to get out to the barn. You have to crunch thru the top of the snow and it’s very slick out.

I still can’t breathe properly. I am tired of being sick! I’ve had this stupid cold since Dec. 7th. I’m ready for it to be gone. Now!

Oh . . . my dear danish goat boy. You really surprised me this time. Your parcel arrived today (Sat) in perfect condition.

It’s so beautiful and thoughtful. You made me cry when I opened the box. My husband says: “What is it?” I’m saying: “Look, look, look”.

My husband says: “It’s Mads and Plume!” “Mads and Plume in a snow globe.” “And there’s Magnethe and Mads posing on the Christmas card.”

I truly don’t know what to say. I will always treasure this gift. Just the way you and Mads are looking at each other.

Where would we be without our animal and human friends? Thank you so much.

Desiree – I think Arthur has them beat still! If you give him a woolly costume he’d be perfect!
The card was very lovely, thank you. I did manage to read it, although I must admit it took a little effort. Worth it though!

Debster – Aw! I’m so glad it got there in one piece. I was worried I hadn’t packed it well enough. But it survived, yay. I wish I could have been there and watched you open it. I’m glad you guys liked it. I thought you deserved something. I know Mads won’t be forgotten, and I thought having one of my last moments with him pictured like that, would be something special. You’re very welcome, and thank you too.
