Last Of The Winter Soup
Today I finished the last of mama’s world famous chicken soup. It’s always a sad occasion when the soup runs out. If I could I would have soup for dinner every day in a month straight. I’m not saying I wouldn’t get tired of it. I’m just saying I’d still keep eating it.
Other than that it has been a quiet day. I was planning to go help my brother with his internet troublems. But after watching the new Lost episode in the morning I was still so tired that I crashed back in bed. At least I haven’t slept all the day away. But still a fair part of it. So I have postponed the internethelping to tomorrow. I’m not even sure I can help him, especially now that I, you know, can’t see anything, and stuff. Not to keep beating the dead horse or anything.
On Monday I will get to test out my eyes on football. The Danish soccer season starts up again. With a bang. Brøndby will be playing local and top rivals FC Copenhagen. One of the biggest games of the season, one that could be very important in deciding the championship. I wonder if I will be able to stand watching it. I guess I’ll probably have to move the TV even closer to my comfy chair. I hope I will still be able to enjoy it. I am scared that my diminishing sight will rob me of my pleasures one by one. Games, books, TV, computer. One by one my friends will fail me and I will be left standing alone in the dark.
Alone at last.
