Mad Hatters

I took a little trip to the playground today. And enjoyed the company of good goats.
It was closed for the weekend of course, but I still have the keys. As I was unlocking the goat house I heard a familiar meow behind me. I meowed back and waited for Nina to come strolling round the corner. Nice to see her again. I don’t think I have seen her since I stopped feeding the animals. I think she was a little disappointed that I wasn’t there to let her inside and feed her. But other than that I’m sure she was happy to see me. She rolled around on the ground for a bit and then rubbed up against my legs. Sweet kitty.
The goats were doing fine. Magnethe is big as a house. I can’t belive she hasn’t had her kids yet. Maybe she will wait for me to be done with the acupuncture after all. I think she is protecting her terriroty in there, I had to wrestle her for a bit. But it wasn’t too bad. It was just good to see everyone again.
Finn knocked my hat off with his constant jumping. So I figured I’d let them try it on for size.
Handsome goat boys, eh? I think they prefer eating hats to wearing them, though.
In other news, Sussi the lamb seems to have left the premises. Leo was alone with mama. I’m not sure why exactly, but maybe Sussi has gone back to Kurt to start a family of her own.
A mother and faither and their little daughter came to see the animals while I was there. The girl liked the bunnies a lot, but was a little scared by the sheep. She liked the goat boys though. When I was getting ready to lock up and leave, the mother came over and said that there was a bunny running around outside. So I had to go bunny hunting. That is not easy when you can’t see a damn thing, let me tell you. Luckily the family spoted the bunny and directed me to it. At first it ran away and I figured that now I’d have to run around chasing it for hours. But luckily it decided to cooperate after all. So I got it inside without too much trouble.
And that’s my day. Now I am recharing the batteries. Another week of acupuncture is about to begin. Let’s hope there will be results.

Hee, hee. I made a copy of the picture with Finn wearing the hat. We have a meeting Monday night so I will show everyone who wears the PF hat in Denmark!
Finn looks like some new rap star with his hat pulled over his eyes so that he looks “really cool”.
Lovely Nina. She’s such a pretty kitty. We went to pick up some weed killer at the elevator so I had to go in to see the elevator cat. She’s a really pretty light gray with blue eyes. I gave her a little scratch and she was purring in my lap in a second.
The playground must have an on-line course for bunnies: How To Escape From Your Enclosure. I think most of their bunnies have taken it, too. If I saw that Giant Flemish bunny, I would run the other way.
“I ain’t afraid of no ghosts!” (Just a giant gray bunny in Denmark.)

Debster – Hope people liked the picture! Maybe it’ll make it to the 2009 goat’s line of fashion. Or something like that.
Katrine – Going ok, but no results unfortunately.

Oh, yes. They thought the picture was really cute. “Is that a goat?” Yes. “What is he wearing?” It’s a Pheasants Forever hat you dummies!
Duh!
