Junior Senior

(google cache)

Two more days of acupuncture under my belt. Three days left.

The two days this week have been much the same as the previous week. Except there’s a new acupuncturist in the clinic. Junior. Yes, I know I said that guy who had treated me was the junior of the family. That always puzzled me a little because he was pretty old. Turns out I had it all wrong. That guy was Senior. And yesterday I met Junior. He seemed very nice as well, just like his father. He calls me “champ” and he didn’t invite the visiting Belgian doctor in with me because he knew I have social phobia. I heard him introduce the Beglian doctor to all the othe patients lying around the clinic. Someone studying their methods.

But the million dollar question: any improvement? The answer, unfortunately, is no. Maybe a tiny bit on the left eye. But if so then it’s so little that it doesn’t really make a difference. Everything is still a blur, pretty much worse than ever. And I am just about out of hope. But we’ll do the last three days. And we’ll wait for the hospital to call me in for a closer look at the eyes. And for the cataracts operation. What else can we do? The royal us.

I am so very tired.

I’m sorry to hear the acupuncture isn’t working out as well as we’d all wanted it to work. We’re both wishing and hoping for some positive changes for you.

It’s a dreary rainy-looking day today. I think this was the longest we’ve gone without rain since last night. We had noticed cracks in the ground even! Hopefully this rain won’t make the ground so mushy again.

We were just getting used to walking on firm ground again and rather liked it. I know the goats and donkey girl were happy when it wasn’t so muddy for them.
