Guess what I had for dinner today?

I’ll give you a clue: I had pizza.

How about that? I think that’s the first time I have had pizza since I was a little kid. My onion fear has made me stay well away from them. Through a life of diabetes-causing junkfood, I have always avoided pizza. So it was about time. And it worked out well. I ordered take-out again. I don’t think it was the best pizza ever made, but it was edible and kinda cool. A pizza Margherita. I kept it simple. It was thinner than I imagined, and starting to get a little cold. I have a feeling that a real pizza connaisseur would probably have thought it sucked. But I liked it and it was fun to do. The best thing was the pizza box. Just like in the movies. With a stereotypical Italian style baker dude on the cover. Awesome.

That’s all.

Whoa! Guess what we’re having for supper tonight? PIZZA! My husband went down to the store to pick it up. What a coincidence. Great minds think alike.

We saw the most amazing thing today. It was a baby white-tailed deer, just a few days old. The people we were painting for raise deer. They had just gotten this little baby fawn and when she grows up, they will breed her.

It was so sweet. She was reddish-brown with oblong white spots on her back. She had the biggest eyes, little black nose, long eyelashes, and the tiniest little hooves. Her front leg bones were about as big around as my index finger.

They were bottle feeding her and she was hungry! She had the cutest little “bleat” noise she made. The biggest thing about her was her long, long legs. Oh, she was cute. I was hoping we’d get to see a baby fawn.

Their mama deer were ready to have their babies anytime this weekend, so they were watching over them very closely.

I don’t see how they raise them and sell them. I’d want to keep every deer born! We got to see some of the male deer with their velvety antlers. Even got to pet one of the tame ones.

What an interesting day. Deer and pizza!

I like Canadian bacon with mushrooms! My husband sometimes likes the Supreme (has everything but the kitchen sink).

The Canadian bacon is small round pieces of meat that tastes like ham.
