Lost: The Hunted Ones

Much time has passed since… no wait, that’s a different show. Sorry about that.

Meanwhile, in Denmark. Spring is coming along nicely. I went to foot therapy today and I did not wear a sweater. Did not wear woolly socks. It is so good to be warm again. On the downside, there will probably be no more of mama’s world famous chicken soup until next winter.

What news of the goat kids? Well, they are out exploring the world now. Here is a little video of it: youtube.com/watch?v=zhtOrx15rDY. It is lovely to see them have fun like that. But I have to say, it does make it a lot more difficult for me when they are out there. With bushes and rocks and holes and sand. And of course goats never stand still. The boys bounce around all over the place. And Magnethe slowly migrates to wherever the grass seems greenest in the moment. So I can’t just go and sit down with them. I have to follow them around. Staggering after them with my cane. I did fall actually. Stepped in a hole. Bruised my hand and knee. Nothing serious. But it is a lot harder than the old days, when I could see. No doubt about that. Still, it’s good to spend time with them. Even when they have so much to take in that they almost forget about me. Little blackie is still the one who comes over to me most often. Says hello. He seems to really enjoy being scratched too. And with the beautiful black colour (and slight spots down his neck) he is my favourite, I think. But I love brownie too. He usually stays closer to mama. And he’s still mama’s little boy, she takes extra good care of him. You can see her pushing away a girl in the video too. She did that a couple of times when children got too close to her boys. She doesn’t like when they come running around noisely. The human children, I mean. Her boys can run around all they like.

I have a couple of videos from Tuesday as well.

youtube.com/watch?v=4kUX72h6NCE. The kids jumping up on my back. I may enjoy that game even more than they do. I like leaning over and inviting them up. Sometimes they take the bait, sometimes they don’t. I’m sure they’ll get even more fond of it when they get a little bigger. So they can get up easier.

youtube.com/watch?v=eLXcJIbNOVE. And on the bench. They’ll be able to jump up there soon too. Blackie actually made it up on his own, but I can’t quite tell if Magnethe gave him a push or not. Most of the time I had to help them up.

Perfect little happy-pills.

You know, any sane person would not place that thing on the top of the desk.

Peter Pan – In my defense, I am anything but sane. Well that’s not really a defense I guess. More of a confession. I plead guilty mlud.
Actually I’m not sure what you mean. And it’s a quite old picture. From when I was still living at home. I mean, my previous home.
