Brain Jail

We’re into May now and the summer is practically here. And what better way to celebrate than… by getting sick.

My throat started hurting a little yesterday. And today much more. Along with a good deal of coughing. And my nose is starting to block up, I think. Perfect summer goodness.

I’m not feeling too bad. Not yet at least. I just hope it will have all passed by Thursday, when I go for the eye surgery. And I would also like to be able to go see the goats a couple of times before that. So let’s hope it doesn’t get much worse.

Meanwhile, there is a goat video from last Thursday: www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5HFWsQqg_Q. Just the usual funning around with the goats. Up on a ledge. Good times. They are starting to push each other around at times. And they are growing horns. Still just little budding tops, but they are coming. I am going to have to take a little break from the playground after the surgery. A week’s time I guess. I bet they will be huge when I come back.

I’m sorry if the blog has been boring lately. It’s just that I use all my best material on facebook. And ehm… if you’re friends with me on facebook and you don’t recognise that fact, then it’s just because I use my very best material on twitter. And err… if you follow me on twitter too and you still don’t agree it’s just… because the best material is all in my head. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

But at least with the surgery there should be some interesting stuff to talk about. There is a lot riding on this one. Quite possibly the last chance of any improvement to my eyesight. And will getting my glasses back make any difference? Plus more goat hilarity surely to follow. I can’t hardly wait.

Oh no. Not a cold. I had one earlier this year and it went away very, very quickly. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.

You know your goat loves you when. . . he lets you braid his little goaty beard!

You know your donkey loves you when. . . she doesn’t eat your fingers when you give her some grass!

You know your kitty cat loves you when. . . you are kneeling down to pull weeds and your kitty jumps up on your bended knee, then hops up on your back and purrs in your ear!

PS: Love your videos of the goatzie kids. They are growing up so fast!

Hope your cold has gone away by now! And that the surgery goes superduperextraordinarily well!

Debster – Unfortunately surgery is off. Let’s hope it won’t be too long. Sucks.
    Lovely animals though!

Katrine – no such luck I’m afraid
