Frozen Noses
I feel like I’m in a bit of a holding pattern. Waiting to hear about the computer. I just want a new new one. The sooner the better.
My old computer is standing next to the TV. In the other end of the apartment. It’s a little weird now to be sitting here in my comfy chair both when watching TV and when being on the computer. I’m used to walking back and forth. As I spend most of my days in front of either the TV or the computer. When I’m not outside. I feel geographically dislocated.
And my MP3 player broke. Annoying. I have another one, luckily. So I can still listen to my books. But the other one is not quite as good. It’s actually a more expensive model, but the features are not as handy. It has a display screen which I can’t read. The cheaper one has no display screen and is much easier to use. Plus it can fastforward faster in Audible books. I looked on Amazon, and it seems they don’t sell either of those two models anymore. Well, the broken player is just over a year old so I have contacted the seller. Waiting back for a reply from him too. I don’t like waiting for emails. Obsessively checking inboxes and nothing arrives. Come on universe, work faster.
I bought some new fitness equipment. Amongst other things an ab cruncher thing. I remember I used to use one a lot when I worked out at the Reva center, one million years ago. Now I’m just trying to remember how I actually used it back then. I can’t quite remember. I just remember that I really liked it and it was very handy. I’m looking up exercises on youtube. Maybe something will come back to me. I could use a personal trainer. Someone to tell me to take a break.
My dad was kind enough to put it together for me. Reading instructions isn’t exactly easy for me these days. Dad was quite impressed with himself for getting it put together. It means a lot to me that’s he’s always so willing and ready to help with things.

You know all the good places to scratch goatzies! They look so blissed out when they’re getting scratches.
Frankie likes to have scratches all over, Billy likes to have his shoulders rubbed, and John Boy likes to have his rump scratched and our donkey likes her ears rubbed.
Glad to hear your Dad was able to follow the instructions. It always seems to me that those instructions are written by someone whose first language is NOT English! hee, hee “Put tab A into slot B or is it slot C?”
I’m still being entertained by our hummingbirds. They will be migrating south soon and I will miss them. They have kept me busy this summer mixing up sugar water for them. They are so much fun to watch.

Brrr. It is getting cooler here at night. I covered a couple of my blooming flowers last night with towels. It didn’t get down to freezing, but my plants were okay anyway. The cats thought I put the towels out for them, so I think the body heat of the cats kept the flowers warm! hee, hee
Still had 9 hummingbirds zipping around the feeders tonight when we got home from work.
Remember the picture I sent you with the cat in the bird bath? I sent the picture in to our local newspaper and they put it on the front page. (The newspaper has been running local pictures that people send in like tree frogs looking out of bird houses and other cute pictures.) So our cat has had his “15 minutes” of fame!

Debster – I am a very experienced goat scratcher. And it’s something I do enjoy, that’s for sure. Making the goats feel good is a joy.
Where do the hummingbirds go during winter? To Denmark by any chance? Is Denmark south of America? My geography skills are non existing.
It’s getting colder here too. Forecast says 7 degrees tonight. That’s too cold for me.
Congratulations on the picture! You made the front page. And your cat did. Must be one proud cat now! It was a very lovely picture too. I think I’m going to see if I can get Magnethe to sit in a bird bath so I can get a front page picture too!
