World Builder Pretend
Not too much has been happening this week. Been getting back on track with eating better. Mostly. Losing some of the holiday weight. You know, the traditional Danish Holiday that lasts from Christmas to… February. I shall keep at it.
I’m enjoying the mild temperatures. It’s been around 5C/40F mostly. A little above sometimes even. I still have to dress warm, but at least I’ve been able to leave the big scarf at home. The 15 day forecast still shows no freezing temperatures. Fingers crossed. That it won’t get so cold that my fingers fall off.
Still no goat babies at the playground. And Mio’s udders still don’t look like she’s just about to have them. It’s all very puzzling to me!
Been doing some redecorating in the pen. Moving the pile of branches around. Bringing in more tree chunks. Built a second wooden staircase. This one leading up to the roof of the playhouse. Good fun seeing Mia and Palle jump around on it. I thought Palle would be the one who’d be most interested in getting up there. But it turned out to be Mia who went first. The next day I lured Palle up with a raisin. And then it seemed like he realised that he could do it. And he started jumping up on the roof, even from the other side of the house too without the help of the staircase. Must be the first time since Medium and Large left that there have been goats on the roof of the playhouse.
And that’s about all. Photo time!
I put a tree chunk up at the fence, the spot where the goats usually like to stand and watch. Now they can get a (slightly) better view of things!

Hello? Hello? I think there’s a goat on the line.
Mio was not impressed by my tatty, old phone.
And a goatlog. You can see me doing some staircase building and redecorating. And the goats reacting to it by running and jumping around. Plus their first trips up on the roof of the playouse. Fun stuff.
And that’s all for this week, folks. See you in the next one.
