Det Var Kattens!
I have had a pretty good day today. With snow and animals.
It started at 6 am when Moomincat came in through my window. Normally I wouldn’t appreciate being woken at that hour, but how could I complain?
My mother had just left for work so I took him for a walk around the house. He seems to like that. After half an hour or so he went back out in the cold and I went back to sleep.
When I got up and went to work it was snowing. Adding to the snow already on the ground. I like walking to the bus when it’s snowing. It’s cold and unhandy, but beautiful and peaceful.
Work went fine. Although I have to find a computer course to attend and I have to meet with my social worker soon and other things that I’d just rather avoid and not think about. Oh and I went to the library and picked up new books. Goodie. Plus a “learn how to play guitar” video tape. So we’ll see if I ever get that done.
Then to the playground. Where the goats posed royally in the snow.
And Mads was irresistable as always. I haven’t forgotten how to smile.
The horses were running around in the snow.
And the lambs were being very cute.
I love animals in the snow. I could spend hours there.
Eventually I went home though. And around dinner time Moomincat came back.
He wanted to go walkabout in the house, but my mother and brother were home so I couldn’t let him. He was quite sneaky though. Because my mother was making dinner, the door to our back yard was open. So Moomincat nipped out the window and went in there.
That one is taken through the door to the back yard, my window is the first open one in the back.
Hehe. He went into our living room. And startled my mother. I went and picked him up and brought him to my room. Shortly after he went out the window again and into the living room. It happened three times before my mother decided to close door. She doesn’t share my joy with wandering cats. She thinks I’m encouraging him. And well, yeah. I am. Who doesn’t want feline visitors? I want him to come as often as he likes.
And now I am very tired and shall retire to bed and break out the new books.
Oh yes, if you like animals then go look at this flickr. Lots of boer goats, like Mathilde and Magnethe. And cats. And llamas, would you believe it. It’s a wonderful collection. Baby goats. Awe.
That’s all.

On “this flickr” that one little all white goat with a brown face is just to cute. She is as big as the cats in the one photo. Thank you for sharing these pictures with us and it is so good to hear a smile in your writing once more. I am glad you are feeling better and your back is ok. You will receive a postcard from the Land of Enchantment – (you’ll see what state) for your B-Day. I hope I get it out in time to get to you. Happy Early Birthday to You!!!! Debbie
