Karma Plumice

Nowt much happened today. A quiet, cool day. Not too bad for a Monday.

Not too tired.

Just tired a little. Sometimes I feel like a sleepwalker. I guess that’s better than feeling like a zombie.

Springbok doing better. His leg seems fine now.

Springbok

All the kids are still utterly adorable. They still run and jump and generally behave like the Tasmanian Devil in the cartoons. A whirlwind of goats. They have started eating properly. Striking fear in all plants and bushes.

Mads

Mads staring into the distance, as he sometimes does.

Magnethe

And Magnethe the sweet. Isn’t it hard to belive that it’s the same goat that could barely walk around a month ago because she was so hugely pregnant? Skin and bones now.

That’s it. I’m off to crash a party at the White House.

I just finished reading “My friend Leonard” written by James Frey.
Truly one of the best books I’ve ever written. I HIGHLY recommend it.
It’s the follow-up to A Million Little Pieces, which was also an amazing book.
You should read both. I bet you would like them too.
    Let me know!

Oops – I meant to say truly one of the best books I’ve ever READ – not written. :)

“Striking fear in all plants and bushes.” Hee hee. Elephants do this too. (Include trees in that.) I have a laugh remembering the story of Tara the elephant (in India) who inhaled a table laden with pastries as she walked by. Mads looks like a philosopher.

Florida Girl – Aw, I was gonna ask for a signed copy :-P I will put both of those books on my to-do list, thank you!

Katherine – Inhale is the right word hehe. It’s like a vacuum cleaner, the sweep over a branch and remove all green. They’ll go for trees too, as long as the branches are low. Sometimes I’ll sit and watch them devour and then I’ll pull down a branch and they’ll pick it clean.

If only Mads could talk, he could probably tell me the secrets of the world. Or maybe I just need to listen harder. I’ll work on that.

Hey, I knew there was some controversy over “A Million Little Pieces” by James Frey, but now I see it was really written by “Florida Girl” !!! (Ha, ha) I want to read his/her other book, too.

Yaay, Plume is answering his comments. We are a demanding bunch, aren’t we! Plume’s “to do list” – must answer comments, must read books by James Frey, must list differences between sheep and goats, must get hair cut (did you already do that?), must find out secrets of the world, and must curse bus drivers, & must make out “to do list” for the afternoon!

Deb – We can start a book club together. Hehe. I did not get my hair cut. I was in need of goat happiness so I went straight to the playground. I’ll be getting it cut next week though. Until then I will do an impression of a Yeti. I’m going to need to do a to-do list for my to-do list, I think.
