Wow Windows Vista

Hey. Oh hey there. I didn’t see you come in.

I’m late and it’s tired. I just wanted to share a picture of the king of the playground.

mads

Mads the Great. Also Nina:

I wasn’t feeding the animals yesterday. But I got up there before Jannie had arrived so Nina came running out, expecting to be fed. And then she rolled around at my feet for a while.

And now the weekend is over. Back to work, Plume!

Oh, to be that flexible as Nina! Nice shoes, btw!

The sun is shining today and the snow is not drifting anymore. Hooray! We’re supposed to be above freezing this coming week.

Luis Lemmings: We have “waves of snow” here in Iowa where it’s drifted/blown. It looks just like white waves on an endless sea of snow. (That’s my poetic side showing.) No snow sharks, though! (ha, ha)

  2. Debbie Says:

Work – agh! You’ve done real with the work huh? Good luck with the coming week. I hope all goes well for you.

  3. Debbie Says:

Opps I meant to say you’ve done real well – I’m tired too. Time to go to bed. Hi Ho! Hi Ho!

I’ve see all that snow on the tv lately. It looks awfully pretty. But then I’ve heard those poor folks on JetBlue being stuck on their planes for hours on end. So there’s a good side and bad side to snow. There is going to be some rain tonight and early into tomorrow.

It’s supposed to be the rainy season here in San Diego, but it just hasn’t been raining all that much. Maybe there is something to global warming.

Also, it’s funny to see Nina all stretched out in front of Plume. That lizard who still lives in my backyard, I found it stretched out on my patio yesterday. It didn’t even move when I went back to my flower bed to snip some flowers for my den. I just walked around it. I don’t think it’s afraid of me at all.

Plume is lucky because cats seem to like him. The cats around here basically own the neighborhood. They seem to love sleeping on top of my old wooden fence.

My lizard reminds of Moomincat. Remember him? They both seem to come and go. I don’t see the lizard everyday though I leave it honeydew melon slices and other soft fruits. But I don’t know if the lizard is eating them or the cats. Do cats eat fruit?

Also, are snow sharks real? They don’t seem very friendly to me unless you poke them with a stick.

  5. Debster Says:

Luis Lemmings: Is it an iguana? How long is it? Our outside cats will eat just about anything. Cat food, goat food, dog food – ours would probably eat fruit.

Snow sharks are very elusive as they swim under the snow. There isn’t much known about them. No one can get funding to study them. They just find their remains when the snow melts.

Debster – That picture just makes me want to streeeetch. My shoes would have looked even nicer if I had gotten around to cleaning them after the big mudstomp. “An endless sea of snow”. Now see that’s my kind of pottery.
I have never seen a snow shark. Although sometimes when I’m out walking in the snow I hear the Jaws theme and I look around nervously. Teehee.

Debbie – Hi ho hi ho, it’s off to bed I go. If I were one of the seven dwarves then I would definitely be Sleepy. That’s one of them, right? Now if only I could get my fairytale princess.

Luis Lemmings – Global warming is bad news for me. I would prefer some local global freezing. I have no planes to catch, let it snow let it snow let it snow.
Why would the lizard be afraid of someone as nice as you? I’m sure he’d come in for a cup of coffee if you asked. Have you named him? I suggest Wizard. Wizard the lizard.
I wish Moomincat would come around again. I think I saw him the other day, crossing the road. You can never have too many cat pals.

I think it’s an iguana. It’s not very long and it’s kind of a lime green color. It looks at me; doesn’t seem to be scared at all though the first time I saw it, I got scared. I never touch it and it likes lounging on the patio when it’s warm.

I didn’t know that cats could eat fruit. I guess both the cats in the neighborhood and the lizard eats the fruits I put out.

No, I haven’t named the lizard yet. But I do like the name Wizard though I may name him Momminlizard in honour of Mommincat.

I don’t see Moominlizard everyday, maybe twice a week. Yesterday, we had the first big rain storm in San Diego and I was a bit worried that Moominlizard might get washed away.

But my friend said that iguanas are especially hardy creatures and it’s probably hiding in the cement walls that surround the yard.

Could there be more than one?? I don’t know.

I think you’re teasing me about those snow sharks. Silly you!
