A Snow Dream

What a day for a daydream
What a day for a daydreamin’ boy
And I’m lost in a daydream
Dreamin’ ’bout my bundle of joy

And even if time ain’t really on my side
It’s one of those days for taking a walk outside
I’m blowing the day to take a walk in the sun
And fall on my face on somebody’s new-mown lawn

And you can be sure that if you’re feeling right
A daydream will last long into the night
Tomorrow at breakfast you may pick up your ears
Or you may be daydreaming for a thousand years

WOW! You got snow! Buckets & buckets of snow. Guess we know what you did today. Take snow pictures. They are just beautiful. How much did you get? Have you heard? Snow sharks???

Okay, my dear danish goat boy. How do you always manage to pick such appropriate songs/lyrics to go with your blogs? That was great. Now I’m humming that song . . . what a day for a daydream . . .

  2. Stu Says:

That is A LOT of snow!

  3. Debbie Says:

Yay for snowdays!!! We had one last week Wednesday – but didn’t get nearly as much snow as you did! It’s beautiful. I love the picture of the fellow pulling something on the sled. We had a sled like that from when we lived in Germany – best sled in the world – I wonder where it went? I’m so glad you got your snow! Take care – TGIF!!!!!

Debster – Many many buckets of snow! I’m not sure how much, but it’s a lot. And the wind blows it around all the time. I bet the snow sharks are ecstatic.

Stu – The more the better! I am still having problems commenting your blog. The page just times out, I don’t even get to that captcha thingie page. Oddness.
Oh now it seems to work. Nevermind.

Debbie – Snowdays rock! I can’t remember the last time I had one. Finally it pays off to work in the middle of nowhere rather than downtown Århus centre.
I had a sled like that when I was a kid too. Those were the days! I wish I could once again experience snowfall taller than myself!

  5. Laura Says:

Wow, LOTS of snow! It’s soooo beautiful, but I get cold just looking at it! I’m glad you’re enjoying it, though, but I’ll stay inside with the goats!

  6. Plume Says:

Laura – You should try being out in it, it is VERY cold. But as long as you dress warmly then it’s not too bad. I love it anyways!
