Strelok, I Presume?
Yesterday was the big easter egg hunt at the playground.
A little late this year. But it’s a nice annual tradition. They hide chocolate eggs all over the place and then the kids run around and try to find them. At the end all the eggs are put together in a pot and evenly divided amongst the kids. So it doesn’t matter who finds 6 eggs and who doesn’t find any. Everybody gets a share.
It’s fun to see the kids run around all excited. The adults say that the easter bunny has been hiding the eggs, and the kids seem to believe in that. I’m not quite sure if the older kids are just playing along though. I was joking with Kurt, asking if Mads was going to leave any eggs around. Mads did not seem amused. You egghead, Mads!
Vanilje tried to help, but she didn’t find any eggs. There was a boy who asked if he could give a chocolate egg to Mads. I said no. I’m not actually sure if chocolate is bad for goats, but no reason to take any chances. I seem to recall that cats shouldn’t be given chocolate. Or was it dogs? Anyway, the goats are overjoyed just to get a stick of carrot or an apple so why not leave the chocolate to the kids?
Did I mention the other day, when I was sitting on the slope with the goats, an elderly couple came walking by at the top of the slope. The woman asked me if I wanted some apples for the goats. I said yes and then she threw down a little plastic bag with old, slushy apple slices in it. Not surprisingly the goats were very pleased.
Other than that, nothing much is ongoing. Just chillaxing in the sunshine. Enjoying the weekend. Doing some computer cleanups. The med situation is back to normal and all is swell.
Have a fun weekend, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do if I wasn’t social phobic.

Goats have a keen since of smell. I’m surprised they didn’t get the chocolate eggs first. But I think they would prefer apples and carrots instead. I’ve been sick with the flu and haven’t done much. I got sick when I went to see my psychiatrist for a prescription for new medication. And they were people coughing and siffling in the waiting room. I’m sure I got it from them.
Throw some chocolate eggs and apple slices my way. I want to get better soon. Sneezing and having a sore throat are not good things to have.

Luis Lemmings – They probably would have found them all if I hadn’t been there to distract them. They usually stay close to me when I’m around. Much to my pleasure.
You should sue your psychiatrist! Or well, ask for some free meds maybe. Hope you feel better soon. Have some chicken soup if you cancan.

Luis Lemmings: hope you’re feeling better soon. My husband’s doctor has a “well” waiting room and a “sick” waiting room. Everyone who is well and maybe just having a routine check-up, or tests, or renewing prescriptions can wait in the “well” room away from all the coughers, sneezers, and hackers. Don’t you wish all the doctor’s had two waiting room?

Debster – I’m social phobic, I wish the doctor had a waiting room per patient! Haha. Just a little humour.

That’s funny, Plume! You NEED to become a stand-up comic. We would need to put up a dark screen in front of the audience so you would think you were in a room all by yourself and then you could do your comedy routine!
