Wellcombed
Well, I’m about to head out for the playground’s christmas party. Literally shaking. But it will be okay. Wish me luck. I’ll give you a detailed report tomorrow. In the meantime, here is a goat video for you: http://youtube.com/watch?v=SoyfG6Nz5iM. Me combing the goats yesterday. With Debster’s supercomb. You’d be surprised how hard it is to comb with one hand and film with the other, especially with goats all around trying to sabotage it. So don’t judge my combing too hardly. I’ll get the hang of it.
Now off I go.

Sweet Vanilje – she was smiling! Mads is like: “Forget my head, go for the main part of the goat”!
You need another pair of hands to comb all those goatzies, Plume.
Have fun at da Party.

Hay, hay LuisLemmings: have the wildfires quieted down in your area? We’re expecting some ice, snow, sleet, etc. overnight and into Saturday.

Actually, it’s raining kats and dogs!
I haven’t seen this much rain in over a year.
I stood in the backyard and just watched the rain fall and the wind blow the bushes and trees around. It’s very much a beautiful sight.
We never get this much rain even this late in the season. So it is quite an event for this part of the country.
I do envy you and Plume for having snow. As I’ve mentioned, I have never seen snow before except for on tv and what people tell me.
So I love looking at the photos Plume takes of the snow and ice in his neighborhood. Friends have asked me to go skiing up north, but I’ve refused.
If God intended people to fly, He would have built in wings at birth instead of webbed toes that you and Plume have.
I so envy you and Plume for your webbed toes…
(sigh)…

Debster – Hah, I know. More arms would come in handy for making videos. Maybe I should get a cameraman. Then I could properly capture the moments.
The party was quite jolly, mostly. More on that later. For now I will just sit here and envy you the snow.
LuisLemmings – Thanks Luis! The party went quite well, I’m happy to report. And I’m glad you’re getting some rain, that’s certainly better than wildfires. It was raining last night as I walked home from the party. I decided to walk instead of taking the bus. Nice and atmospheric, the streetlights reflecting in the puddles, the sound of falling rain, the feeling of it against me. No kats and dogs, though!
I have never been skiing myself. I’m afraid I’m too clumsy, I’d spend more time sitting in the snow than skiing down the slopes, I bet. But hopefully there will be more snow pictures soon. I could do with a good snowfall.
And who told you about my webbed toes?! I thought that was a secret between me and my genetically engineered frog parents.
