Things That Go Bump In The Night
Funnily enough I DID dream about Lost. No Pamela or gummy bears, though.
Otherwise a quiet couple of days. The phone rang today, unexpectedly. It was my visitations guy. He said he was in the neighbourhood and asked if he could drop by. I don’t like short notice like that, but I couldn’t very well say no either. So he came around and we went for a walk. Talked things through.
You might remember that he is being transfered. And we have decided that I’m not going to get another visitationer. I think I’m doing a little too “well” for the program. I got the impression that the other people he visits are people who have a hard time managing their lives or don’t get out at all. One of the reasons I got in the visitations program was that I was moving out for the first time and not sure how I could handle it. Well I’m handling it just fine. And even though I still have social problems, I’m not completely isolating myself. So I will be getting no more visits, I’ll have to try to maintain some social contacts on my own instead.
He’s leaving my case “open” though, mainly for two reasons. In case the retirement apllication people need to get information from them regarding the application. And for the volunteer stuff. I still haven’t heard from the volunteer place, but it should be any day now. And since the visitation guy is a friend of the volunteer guy, he’d like to keep tabs on how that’s going. So my case remains open, but no more visits.
So we’ll see how that all goes.
Almost wedding time. Saturday. We’re going to go get something to eat after the ceremony. It’ll be around noon, so no fancy dinner. But I’m sure it’ll be nice nonetheless. I’m almost looking forward to it, a little. Who knows, it might not be bad.
I am however feeling a little unwell right now, so I better head off to bed. Let’s see what’s in store for tonight.

Good luck on the wedding. We want pictures, too. With a goat included, if that is possible!
We had a nice day here (before it snowed again) and let the goats out for a little walk in the yard. There was lots of leaping and running and jumping even though the ground was wet and soggy. All three of them were acting like baby goats in the springtime.
When it was time to head for the barn, it was like a stampede of buffalo splashing thru the water to get to the hay. Amazing how loud three goats can sound!

Stu – Thanks mate!
Debster – thanks! I’ll try to get some pictures. Although I might end up being too nervous to take any, we’ll see. In any case I’m sure it’ll be an entertaining story full of drunk relatives and frisky goats.. or something !
Baby goats.. sigh.
