In Red Blue Green
I’m feeling better, thankyouverymuch. Took a long shower, yesterday. Then went shopping although I didn’t have anything I had to buy. But I figured it would be smart to get out and do something. And it helped. Feeling less groggy and sad.
Also helped: goats. Sweet, wonderful goats. Magnethe is really big. You can tell it’s getting close. Goat kids any day now. It will save my life, it will.
Mads and Poul, as I shall now try to get used to calling the buck, was in a bit of a fighting mood today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PBI7v_Q2zs. They were going at it. Hard, too. I almost got a little worried. And it took some time for me to seperate them when I couldn’t stand hearing the cracking horns anymore. It’s been a long time since they were that worked up.
I can’t believe it’s February already. Seems like yesterday the year was just beginning. It’s crazy how time flies when you’re eating flies, as the frog said to the princess before she kissed him and he turned into a pumpkin. Don’t mix your metaphors, and don’t mix your fairy tales.

I wonder…when the baby goats come out finally, are they able to stand or are they covered in that amneotic sac that the mother has to chew for the baby to escape?
There is a tradition in the middle part of the US that the family takes the sac (when a human child is born), bakes it into a pie or cassrole then is served to family and close friends to ensure long life and good luck for all.
I think you should do that. Take Magnethe’s amneotic sac, bring it home, and put it into a dish then serve it to the people at the playground at a nice part to celebrate the birth.
That would be so sweet.
My brother-in-law was lucky enough (before he fainted) to video tape my sister giving birth to their first girl, Riley.
Now, every Halloween, with scary and spooky sound effects and music, we play the video tape to the neighborhood kids as we give them treats.
Sometimes for extra fun, we play the video tape backwards and watch the baby go back in…and then back out…then back in again.
Great fun is had by all! And the bowl full of candies is gone in an instant.

LuisLemmings: I don’t know what part of the middle US you’re thinking of, but it’s NOT here in my part! Yuck! If I was your sister, I’d make sure that video was destroyed and no copies existed.
Well, it’s about time the Plume Groundhog came out of his den to see his shadow! Of course, you felt better.
Now get yourself back on track and set up a regular routine of shopping, goat visiting, laundry, blogging, goat visiting, going to the kitty shelter, going to the library, visiting your parents, baking a cake, etc.
You do know I look forward to reading your blog and you must start having some interesting experiences. I’m counting on you to show me the “real” Denmark and it’s inhabitants (goats, of course).

oh, man. I had a long entry typed out then my computer decided to kick me off line.
I think it was the god/goddess of fate that did it. It may have to do with my last entry.
So I shall make amends:
–No, it is not practiced in the midwest or any part of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
–Goats do not channel the spirits of long dead Danish Prime Ministers.
–Debster is not best friends with the lead singer of Swing Out Sister’s Corrine Drewey.
–Luislemmings’ brother-in-law has never given and will never give the video to any family member regarding the birth of his daughter, Riley. I mean, c’mon. Would YOU want to see that? Like eeewww.
There! Are you happy now god/goddess of fate?
Now, if you excuse me. I’m hungry. I’m getting some fish tacos and in a few hours will watch them “swim” in my toilet bowl.
I’m happy you’re feeling better, Plume.
Follow Debster’s advice. You really do have a lot of people all over the world who care. :)

I just sent someone a Valentine card. I hope they are awake when the post man delivers it.
It was snowing here again. Supposed to have mega snow from 6-8 inches or more. And the ever popular, thunder snow! We had thunder and lightning snow earlier this week.

The last time I looked it seems that Hillary Clinton will take California.
I am the least political person on the planet though I registered as a Democratic years ago and I was socialist in college.
Half my friends love Obama, the other half Clinton. My mother LOVES, LOVES Mitt Romney and my father hates McCain. He’s only a year younger than McCain and had also fought in the Vietnam War.
My father’s take on the Vietnam war is a little different than McCain’s. My father and his friends love to talk about who had it worse! And will compare medication pill for pill, ailment for ailment and they all blame the war even though they used to smoke like chimneys, drink like fish and eat like elephants. Exercise for them was mowing the lawn! I kid you not!
So whomever wins the Democratic or Republican side an the battle begins in earnest in nine months or so, anyone is better than what we have now.
Times are tough here in the States economically now and with a war that seems to go on for years and years and years, maybe it’s time for a change.
All this political talk was due to your entry title: In Red Blue Green. Thank you!
But for now, I’ll keep my neutral self in my happy little Luislemming world of music, books, Brooksbrothers clothes, and Mads and the rest of animal kingdom at the play.
…and of course, Plume and Debster and the followers of our Plume.

I go to sleep for a day or two and you two take over my comments section completely!
Teehee.
LuisLemmings – I think they’re able to stand up immediately, but I’m not sure. I’m however pretty sure that I shall not be taking the sac and not be cooking or decorating with it, sorry. I’ll settle for taking the kids and letting them jump around on me.
Remind me not to ring your doorbell on halloween!
I wish goats channeled the spirits of current Danish prime ministers, thereby leaving the body of the current Danish prime minister in a catatonic state and thereby causeing a change of government. I wish.
Do fish drink? You’d think the ocean would run dry some time.
I enjoyed your political talk a lot. Although the Red Blue Green in the title was actually a reference to the Radiohead song “Videotape”.
When I’m at the pearly gates
This will be on my videotape, my videotape
(..)
and i have it all here
In red, blue, green
Red, blue, green
RBG. I love the idea of your life being judged at the gates of heaven, and it’s all on VHS. No fancy digital stuff up there!
Anyhooo..
Debster – My tracks seem to lead to my bed quite a lot these days. Maybe something more interesting will happen soon. Maybe something with goat kids, you never know.
Thunder snow? Wow. That might wake me up!
I’m going to go sit at my mail slot and wait for valentines!

Plume: that’s why LuisLemmings and I have to live so far apart, we would take over the world if we were closer together. First your blog comments . . . then the world! *evil laughter*

Debster – at least I know my comment section is in good hands.. though I’m nto sure I’d trust you guys with the world just yet!
