Making Hay
What a beautiful day today. The sun shone much.
It was nice to see it out and sparkling. After a lot of grey and windy days.
It inspired me to get out and do stuff. I went minidisc hunting. I’m going to the Tina Dickow concert on Saturday, you know. And I should like to tape it on my minidisc recorder. Like all my previous concerts, or most of them anyway. But I am out of blanks. And apparently the minidisc is not as hip as it used to be. I was in four stores with no luck. Two of them were FONAs, I guess they’re the Starbucks of electronics in Denmark. Then as I was grumbling and walking to the bus I spotted a third FONA. And thought to myself “they won’t have any minidiscs either and if I go in to check I’ll probably miss my bus and have to wait for the next one, what to do, what to do?”. I decided to go in and check and wouldncha know it, they had minidics. Jolly good show.
After my downtown adventures I went to check up on the goats. They were enjoying the sun, as was I. I have mentioned how I seem to be less cold resistant these days. Even though I love the goats, it’s not always that nice to sit in the freeeezing cold for so long with them. Much nicer when it’s a little warmer. And then I don’t have to put on gloves either. It’s really best to not wear gloves when you scratch, rub, pet and yes, tickle goats.
Magnethe was lying down in some hay when I got there. That was nice. Because 1) it doesn’t happen often, they’re usually standing around. And 2) maybe she’s tired cause she’s getting closer to giving birth.. last time she was pregnant she was lying around a lot. Heh. And on the subject, Vanilje’s udder was noticeably bigger. I’m pretty sure. She also seemed to be complaining a lot. It’s a little hard to tell, because she’s normally the most vocal one. She’ll walk around and baah a lot. Unlike the others who usually only baah when they’re reacting to something. But today it sounded like she was complaining, I’d like to think she’s getting close too… I need my goat babies!
Sweet Vanilje.
Mads and I, enjoying the sun in our eyes.
“What’s in your pocket, mister?”. Poor picture but cute Vanilje, again.
And that’s Favorit. Or Ex-Favorit. The store next to the kindergarten next to the playground. Where I did so much, so so much, shopping in the old days. It closed last year, as you might remember. And now finally work has begun on the replacement. There’s going to be a Netto there. They’re breaking down parts of the walls, redecorating, making a new entrance. I know that’s not particularly interesting for any of you guys, but I just wanted the picture there so I could look at it a year from now and see the work-in-progress etc.
It’s my blog and I’ll cry if I want to, cry if I want to, you would cry to if it bloggened to youuuu.
Plume out.

Is a Netto a grocery store?
Our goats do the “What’s in the pockets mister” routine as well. They will also come up behind me and jerk on the bottom of my coat and then look away as if “It wasn’t me”.
